I like that the phone can be charged on the pad with the case on if the case is not too thick or metal. Neither of which is the case for me. Unfortunately though I use a pop socket and cannot charge it with the pop socket attached to the case. I think this would be apply for any wireless charging pad. So although I can charge it without removing my phone from the case, I would have to remove the pop socket, something I am loathe to do. I do not like that the pad does not charge itself. I cannot use the pad as a portable charger as it must be plugged in to charge. This too is probably true at least for now for other wireless charge pads. I did not realize this when I bought this with my new iPhone (just as I did not realize how much of a misnomer “wireless” ear buds was before AirPods). This is a sleek, quality product at a more than reasonable price. Unfortunately I won’t get as much use out of it as I thought because of the (probably universal) limitations above.

It just works.
This Belkin wireless charger works great. The little green LED is a nice touch to let you know your phone is actively charging.I’m also glad this comes with a wall charger so you’re not stuck purchasing one after. However, the cable does have a distinct connection shape in it so if you lost the cable or something happened to it you’d have to buy a Belkin replacement rather than using something in your spare parts bin.The only other mild annoyance is the surface area of the charger is larger than the charging components inside so it takes the right placement to get your phone charging. I’d recommend shrinking the overall width by removing the excess plastic outside of the charging zone but that’s just nit picking.If you want a wireless charger that isn’t black like everything else out there, buy this. It’s why I did. If you don’t care about color, there’s plenty of other cheaper chargers that’ll also work.
