Picked this up about a year ago and just started reading it. It contains 30 stories per “volume” of 19th and early 20th horror stories. I’ve come across several that I’ve encountered before as Night Gallery episodes and movies. You’ll find stories by Lovecraft, Poe, Kipling, Bierce, and Stevenson, plus many more names I hadn’t been familiar with.
The time period is evident in a lot of the stories, some of the things that were horrifying then are more “quaint” now.
The quality of the kindle version is fine, there is occasionally a wrong character (like hed instead of bed) but not so much that it ruins the flow of the story.

Good selection of stories one of my favorite stories of the book is Kerfol by Edith Wharton! I love the look of the book it’s quite a sturdy book it comes with a ribbon bookmark and the cover it’s just gorgeous! I really recommend getting the book you won’t regret it. Specially around this time of year when Halloween is approaching! It helps to get into the spirit of things!

Also they do come with a sticker on the back but you can carefully lift an edge and slowly peel it off without damaging the back as you can see from the pictures.

This is normally $25 at Barnes and Noble, got it for about $17 from Amazon. Great price and great deal. Gold lined pages, blue ribbon bookmark, the paper does feel a bit thin and the font isn't boldfaced so it might be a bit hard to read for some but it was fine for me. The book feels nice and heavy in your hands. There is metallic accents on the front/back of the book and the overall look is of great quality for the price paid. The only thing is during a thumb through,I noticed the back had separated from the binding and there was some missing gold edge along the middle (it looks like it was possibly dropped and gold gilded pages got dented by something) .
