These are cough drops but as a kid we used to eat these like candy. I checked the ingredients and they don't have any medicinal ingredients that would prevent you from enjoying them like candy. What they have to soothe the throat is something called pectin which is found in fruit. They come in a couple of different flavors with wild cherry being my favorite and green apple being my second favorite. Get some!

This year I've had occasion to have to use throat drops much more than I'd like. Kid germs from our granddaughter's pre-school adventures have found me multiple times. I'm "over" sore throat drops with menthol. I prefer pectin, and being able to taste the fruit flavor. These accomplish those goals, without sugar to make my teeth feel gritty.

I just received a big bag, which will be my supply that should last a long while. I'm glad that I found this option among the many out there that don't all achieve the goals. I will try to remember to keep these on hand year 'round.
