DIED UNDER ONE YEAR
This laptop would have been fantastic had it not been so unreliable, it died under 300 days of purchase. It started off with the laptop just shutting down abruptly, the next time I tried powering it on it said boot media not accessible, and the third time I tried powering it on it died completely with no charging lights, power, nothing, NADA. Tried multiple "static discharges" but to no avail. You can most likely guess by now it's a motherboard issue. When I checked the lenovo forums, my worst fears were confirmed - indeed it's a motherboard issue and I was not the only one facing these issues with the exact same model. It is still under warranty but SINCE I BROUGHT IT TO INDIA THE SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE NOT WILLING TO HELP ME. I am not going to the USA for a couple of months still and the warranty will be gone by then. PLEASE HELP and AVOID PURCHASING.Update: after running from pillar to post, I finally got hold of Lenovo USA, who offered me a full refund. Three days have passed since I dropped this off at a service centre, will update here what happens.This laptop died at a VERY inopportune time for me since my college starts next month and I literally SAVED MY ASS UP for this machine only to have it conk out a month before college.
