Are you preparing for technical interviews? Do you know the number one cause of people failing to crack interviews is lack of preparation?

The book is any next candidate's hands-on in an "almost pocket-size" version.

Very well structured with information from existing theories but also from personal experience of a Senior Engineer who's been working in Silicon Valley area for quite some good time.

Take time to digest the key points, as it is very concise and essential topics is what you need to consider in a design interview. More info about the basics can be found online, however you need to try imagine or probably draw the nodes of the system yourself on a piece of paper for the ease of retaining information.

Crisp, No Nonsense book for your System design interview preparation.
Author tried to explain different elements of system design with a broad range of options at every stage .All the concepts are very practical and clearly shows hands-on experience of the author .And finally the 2 examples beautifully puts all the elements to arrive up onto a great solution.
When we encounter a system design interview question, we typically miss many of these elements , though we are familiar and we already used it. This would definitely help you in putting up a detailed solution for any design question.

What I liked?
Crisp, practical and more up-to date with all the recent developments in system design space.
I feel , one could easily crack and regular system design interview, if you can put up all these elements explained in this book into your solution.
If not , you would definitely leave a positive impression with the interviewer.

What could be improved?
Some of the topics need more explanation , Hope this would be sorted out in second edition.

Overall , a great book for system design interviews!
