I am so looking foward to book 12. DK Hood is so good,her books never disappoint, an keep you on the edge of your seat till the end. I cant want wait until book 12 is in my hands. I ve never been so happy that I found this author.

I am currently reading the 8th book. I read 1 - 6 and consider them fantastic. However, starting with book 7, the writing style changed dramatically. Suddenly there are too many contractions, especially with "I've, we've", etc. Instead of "we have 4 deputies....." it's we've 4 deputies. I find this very annoying. The first books were fun to read, but the 7th and 8th are so different that I find myself almost dreading reading. And having so many "intelligent, creative " serial killers in one small town is starting to tax my patience. Please reconsider returning to your first style, please. I have almost decided that you are using a ghost writer. The style, wording and changes in the characters are not what I have come to expect from your books. Feeling very disappointed.

Every book in this series I have read. Each one held its grip on me. My normal read of each book is 4 days as I can't put them down. I highly recommend everyone of these books and am so looking forward to book 11 to be released in March of 2021.

I love these characters!

Once again, the author gave us another great book with Alton and Kane. I couldn't put the book down. Its gripping, intense, and action-packed! Looking forward to the next book in the series!
