Guitar straight out of the box did need to be tuned, but had a battery already installed which was nice. I like the craftsmanship and weight of the guitar, neck feels very comfortable and is easy to get around on. The strings on the guitar had been on there for while and you could visibly see the age, which makes me wonder about how it was stored. Overall I'm well pleased, and if you are looking to learn Solos it right on the money for beginners and up!

    I wanted to love this guitar. It's been years since I've played so I wanted to get back into it with some upper level beginner stuff. It looks beautiful, very easy to adjust, active pickups were made for metal! HOWEVER, even after taking it to a luthier for a professional setup, the fret buzz remained. I know some is normal, but consistently from the same few frets especially on the 6th string is unbarable. Had to replace, and Amazon is awesome at that process.
