This was a no-brainer purchase after having had a great experience with their smaller 3.3Qt Casserole, made the same way with enameled cast iron. It was and still IS perfect. I am a very advanced and award-winning Home Chef, and I can tell you that I have absolutely NO hesitation about this Dutch Oven. It is really THAT good.
When this fantastic-looking neon blue 7.5 qt Dutch Oven arrived, I put it right to work to test. Over the period of two days, I seared, slow cooked, and braised with it, and had great results. Cleaning was maybe a tad more work than much more expensive units, but a dab of BarKeeper's Friend did the job of bringing it back to looking new. (NEVER in the dishwasher!!)
No chips or other damage upon arrival, and careful handling should make this Dutch Oven last for years!
* Superb build. Made in China, but clearly under intense Amazon quality controls. Excellent!
* If instructions are followed, it is relatively easy to clean...even with burnt-on leavings.
* Size at 7.5Quarts is sufficient for virtually any use.
* Not said in the description or any previous review, but this Dutch Oven IS INDUCTION COMPATIBLE!!
* Lid fits on the bottom Pot without issue as well. Use mitts to lift when hot!
NEUTRAL:
It is limited to 400 deg. While some others are capable of higher temps, I have to be honest, I can't think of anything I cook that would need a Dutch Oven at a higher temperature than that in the oven or range. (If I need higher temps, I use Stainless Steel pots and pans as is appropriate.)
TIPS:
1. Handle with care! Rough handling is what causes most chipping and similar problems...especially the lid.
2. Cast iron rims on the base and lid are bare. Best practice is after cleaning the whole Dutch Oven, rub a bit of vegetable oil along both rims and wipe the excess with a paper towel. That will inhibit any corrosion or rust.
3. NEVER...I say again NEVER use a citrus-based cleaner on the Dutch Oven unless you don't mind discoloration.
4. LIFT, don't slide the pot over a glass top, or flattop range. (And use mitts because the handles DO get very hot!)
5. Finally, while not prohibited, the use of non-metal utensils will help keep the interior safe from damage or scratches!
In summary, I can't imagine a better Dutch Oven of this size at this price point. Amazon has done their homework and produced yet another winning product. If you need a large Dutch Oven and don't want to spend 6-7X the price for a Le Cruset, then don't' hesitate! Get this!! HIGHLY recommended! A++

ONE YEAR UPDATE: we find ourselves using this at least two to three times a week. As you can see, some chipping on the handles, and a lot of wear on the inside surface. It’s important you know we only use hot water, dish detergent and occasionally baking soda to clean it.
I’m not happy with the bottom wear but for the price, I’m satisfied with the value. My advice, learn on this then see if you can justify a name brand at a much higher price.
******
Ive never used a Dutch Oven before, but find myself doing more experimental cooking and baking than ever before, so I decided to play with a DO. Like lots of people, I watched a number of YouTube comparison videos to educate myself in what to look for and how much I should spend.
I certainly wasn’t ready to spend in excess of $300 on a brand name French product, although I don’t question the quality of the two major brands. Check!
I also love my cast iron skillets, but didn’t want a raw cast iron surface. Check!
One vid pointed out the importance of having large loop handles so you can easily (LOL! It’s cast iron and heavy) pick up the hot pot using mitts. Check!
The lid fits snugly on the pot, which several vids pointed out the main namebrand top does not. I like this feature, so... Check!
Speaking of handles, it was also pointed out that with handles that didn’t rise above the level of the pot, you could use a flat surface on top to allow it to drain off fluids. Check!
Another vid pointed out a feature I haven’t seen mentioned in the manufacturers info or any of the reviews so far on this site. That’s the “nubs” or “bumps” on the inner side of the lid. (see attached picture) It was pointed out that this allows evaporation to gather and drip back onto what’s being cooked, thereby resulting in a moister dish. Check!
Also, while enamel chips, it’s not. poisonous and isn’t sharp enough to cause any internal damage if ingested so big deal. I’ve only used my one time, but it didn’t chip. I’ll report back if it does excessively. Check!
Finally, it’s cheaper by far than the product I was planning on buying (a Lodge), so... Check!
Whether it lasts or not is another matter. I can’t advise you there. But, if I have any problems, I’ll update this review.

Pros:
**Versatile Cooking: Originally purchased for soups, this Dutch oven has been perfect for slow-cooking meats, stews, and even baking. It performs well across all types of cooking, making it incredibly versatile.
**Easy to Clean: Cleaning is a breeze. Even when food sticks, a simple scrub with the backside of a sponge is enough to get it spotless. No need for heavy-duty scrubbing, and it doesn’t retain odors, even after using oil-heavy recipes.
**Durability: After two years of regular use, it still looks and feels as solid as day one. The enamel coating has held up with no chips or cracks. The blue Dutch Oven I purchased has still remained the same colour nor has it been scratched.
**Heat Distribution: It distributes heat evenly, so everything cooks perfectly without needing constant stirring or repositioning on the stove.
Cons (but manageable):
**Heavy: Like most Dutch ovens, it’s on the heavier side. While it hasn’t been a problem for me, some users might find it cumbersome to lift or move when full.
**Size: The size is great for cooking for two or more people, but if you’re cooking for just yourself, it may feel a little large for smaller portions.
Conclusion: Whether you're making soups, stewing meats, or trying out baking recipes, this Dutch oven is a reliable workhorse in the kitchen. Its durability and ease of cleaning, combined with its exceptional cooking performance, make it well worth the investment. If you can manage the weight, it’s a must-have for any serious home cook.
