Film Noir Is Back...

As a film noir fan, I'm always skeptical when I see a new film tout itself as one. Very few actually pull it off (ie. L.A. Confidential). That being said, I really enjoyed this film. The story is good and the actors are totally believable. The writing has that "gumshoe" lingo that is reminiscent of the Warner Brothers films of the 40s. The exterior shots are colorful and vibrant while the interior shots have that shadowy noir look. If you're looking for something both different and familiar, then give it a try. Classic film buffs, like myself, will enjoy it.

Trouble Is My Business It's actually good. we said that after watching it. The characters are great. Loved the twists in mystery and time. Its classic noir like you'd see out of the past.. I've never heard of any of the people but I figured why not and you know it wasnt bad at all. I liked not seeing the same faces doing the same thing. Its a great movie, music, the sound mixx is excellent esp for low low budget. its a cult gem worth looking at here. I love noir movies and this one is right on the money
