I inherited my grandmothers elderly hen and I was not prepared for the addition to my family. I have 4 dogs and an active life so I didn’t know how a chicken would fit into what I like to do. Come to find out there’s a ton of chicken products like this harness and I just gave it a shot. My new hen hadn’t been handled at all for 8 years so she will run from me when she can. I don’t care at home but outdoors I need to keep her close so I basically hook her up and attach the leash and let her follow us around. When we are ready to go and I try to load her up in the vehicle she will run. I step on the leash and am able to get her secured easily. My hen is a buff Brahma bantam and the medium fits perfect on her.

I measured my rooster, and saw he had a chest measurement of 8.5”. I got the small based on the sizing chart, which stated 7-10”. The actual strap is 14”. He walked right out of the harness. I am going to start looking at avian harnesses for my small rooster. Totally unacceptable that the size could be this wrong.

I have a medium sized Gold Laced Wyndotte that this fits perfectly! She injured her leg when she was only a couple of months old and has been picked on since it's gotten cold. So I needed a way to let her walk around in the house while also not leaving chicken poop anywhere she goes. She's a little small for her breed but the medium fits her great without being too small or too big! Love the zippered poop pouch. She has a hard time walking due to her injure so stepping in and out of the cheap diaper I bought was really uncomfortable. This will definitely solve that problem. Oh! And the little clip on bows are super cute ~
I think the only critique I have is that I wish it was an option to buy an extra poop pouch so that cleaning the one she's wearing was a quick process. I was already considering buying an extra one in case I need one for another indoor chicken but I would buy multiples of the poop pouch if those were available!
