I like the light because it's bright and has the red light too. The hat clip gives me some options too. There are limits because it is rechargeable meaning it can be on empty at the wrong time. The clip is not adjustable so depending on what sort of work you are doing you might need a different angle.... but given the weight it works with a floppy boonie hat. The controls are easy. The glowing barrel depends on the mode last used and the conditions... better on the hat or hanging exposed. Not sure how long it lasts.

I use this at least once a day. You use it way more than you think you will.
My first thought was "550 Lumens? Really?" Yes it is. I have a Duracell 500L flashlight and I shined both this and the Duracell on the wall at the same time and this little flashlight IS about 10% brighter.
Its compact and rechargeable and very very bright. A full charge will get you about 20 minutes at full brightness. But you wont leave it on that long because it can get pretty warm / hot if you keep it on for a long time. I work with a lot of cables in dark places and just need a quick blast of light every now and then.

Pros:
Fits on your keychain like a dream. You forget its there until you need it. very convenient.
Insanely bright but gets the job done
USB rechargeable so you dont have to keep buying batteries for it.
Pretty much does all the things they say in the description.

Update: I read the instructions on the website and figured out how to do the other modes. Its surprisingly very simple. While it is off just press the button 3 times. That opens the menu where each press moves it through the modes.

from the side: reading light, red, and red SOS.

As other reviewers have said, this tiny flashlight really lights things up. It comes with lots of handy accessories to allow you to carry it, or clip it, where you need it. I find it easy to turn on and off, whether for just a moment (brief press and hold), or to keep it on (double-click and then cycle through) or to use the luminous body, triple-click. I recommend turning it off (long press) before trying to triple-click your way to this setting.
The various versions are confusing to me, so based on my work and figuring out the packaging, here’s what I found the Aurora A5R with Luminous Body is / does:
It’s 550 lumens. It comes with a battery and charger. It does not have UV light feature, just red and white light and sort of a green or white for the “reading light” (luminous body) function. You will need to charge it when it arrives (manufacturer’s suggestion / instruction that I feel like passing along), but mine was charged in like 20 minutes.
I really want another one. Gift certificate from boss has a plan...

So, I cannot imagine NOT having this on my key chain. The size is perfect, and the functionality of the buttons is surprisingly easy to learn. My only complaint is that if not used for a week or so, MINE seems to drain. No biggie, just charge it every week or so, and it is fine.
I use this on a daily basis. DAILY basis. In fact, it is my go to flashlight for everything because it is SO bright and SO convenient.
Don't balk at the price tag, this is a big light in a small package. I have tried several different types of key chain flashlights, and this is the one. IF something were to happen to this one, I would be replacing it with another. IT IS THE BEST!

Awesome,best light I have ever owned,and easily most expensive flashlight and most expensive keychain I ever bought.Basically,I'm casually hooked for life(flashlight wise),just because of this model..Super pissed,was only able to enjoy it for 3ish weeks, before a crooked cop stole it.I guess I gotta wait a couple releases before I treat myself to another one(common sense,I occasionally still eat ramen noodles out of necessity,so spending $37 on a keychain light starts to be excessive, especially with my kids outgrowing their leg shackles downstairs (sigh)

This flashlight does everything the product description says it does. I have the luminous body which has a faint green glow all the time. It isn't noticeable in the light, but is easy to see in the dark. After charging, the red light on the body turns blue which is a nice feature. I comes with a USB Type-C charger for fast charging. (Gomadic Tip AZ) I own two of these flashlights and will buy a few more for Christmas presents (for friends who think they own a flashlight).

It seems the plastic isn’t very strong. It just sits on my nightstand and sees intermittent use.
