When I received an email that Anker had a price drop for these earbuds back in January I didn't hesitate to purchase. I mean, ~$54 for a pair of true wireless earbuds AND from one of the most trusted battery companies around? Sounded like a steal!
Upon unboxing I was very satisfied with the design of these earbuds. They didn't look like a Q-Tip hanging off your ear and while in your ear, you can tell something was there since there's a big bulge but I never felt it would just fall out (until I started working out but I'll come back to this).
The sound quality was not bad. I experimented with lows and highs and tried different devices such as my MacBook and Pixel XL 1. I noticed when connected to my MacBook that I couldn't go too high with volume bc then you start to hear the sound straining to be played but on my Pixel XL the max volume was okay. Oh, forgot to mention I use a volume booster for my chrome extensions. I'm sure max volume off the MacBook itself would be fine but still, watch out for the sound strain.
There is a button on each earbud with is nice. You can hit pause/play on either side and there are a series of commands if you want it to do different things. What I found that did work but now no longer, even to this day, is trying to advance to the next track. You're supposed to push the right earbud twice but on the 2nd push, you hold the button.
Edit: 8/9/19 -- my apologies, upon looking further at the manual the method for advancing to the next track has changed. Advancing to the next track DOES work. User error. whoops!
Let's be honest, if you're doing a long run of +2 miles you're going to get some sweat action in and around your ears. When sweating that much (and moving up and down with each step during a run) I did feel numerous times that the earbuds would fall out. I found myself constantly taking each earbud out, rubbing it dry on my shirt or pants, then sticking them back in. I know these aren't meant for solely for working out but wanted to add that in there.
ALSO, these are my 2nd pair. When I purchased the first back in early February, they lasted about a month and then started having a charging issue. The earbuds would magnetically fit inside the case but they would not light up to indicate that they're charging. In fact, I had to wiggle them a certain way just to get the contact points connected. I reached out to Anker directly and their customer service department helped me out and sent me another pair (after they received the ones I sent to them for to diagnose).
Battery life is great. Never had an issue except during my 1st pair.
All in all, these aren't bad true earbuds. I'm just happy I didn't drop +$100.

I love Anker and these are great but not really loud.

Uddated 12/19/19I’ve purchased these Soundcore ear pods twice from Amazon and both times, after about four months of use, the right ear pod just died and refused to recharge, thus making the pair useless. I don’t know why because I take good care of them. I leave them in the charging case when not in use and don’t work out with them so water damage from sweat isn’t the cause. Before the right one died, I loved them. The sound is crystal clear with great depth and bass. The noise cancellation works well and I don’t hear talking or any other noise when I use them on public transportation. They’re very easy to connect to your device and are customizable in terms of size. I emailed Anker and they asked for pictures of the devices serial numbers along with purchase receipts and sent me two new pairs immediately. I had an issue with one replacement pair and tech support walked me through a troubleshooting fix where I had to resync them. They have amazing customer service and sometimes one or two products in a batch are defective, but as a whole they’re line of speakers and headphones offer great quality at an affordable price. And Anker is more than willing to help with tech support or a full replacement with products that stop working. The only drawbacks these have is they’re small and can be easy to drop in winter while wearing gloves and they aren’t as loud as other options. That can be a good thing to avoid hearing damage but sometimes you want crank it up the ten and these go to about 7.
