So the product itself seems to work, maybe. I think I've noticed something but it may be too soon to tell so I'll update later when I know for sure. My main issue is that some of the pills weren't even half full. I attached a picture of 1 of the pills.I found 3 just like it. It would be nice if they filled all of them so you don't get ripped off!Update: I ordered again because it did seem to work...maybe,so I wanted to give it some more time to see. When I got my next order I noticed the color difference in the pills. The 1st bottle had a darker grey substance inside the capsules, but thr 2nd bottle had a much lighter colored substance in it. I HIGHLY question what is actually in these...aka...rice flour maybe? I'd avoid.UPDATE: So I learned that real Pygeum is a reddish brown color. I have attached a picture of some bulk Pygeum that I ordered and that new product seems legit. I don't know what is in these pills, but Pygeum isn't white! I would DEFINITELY AVOID these again!

Ok, The Good:
1. It actually works. I was on Tamsulosin, which kind of sort of worked, and this stuff blows it out of the water. It's criminal to me this isn't the first things prescribed, but I get it, pharma needs our $$.
2. No reason to swallow the giant pill, break it open and add the sawdust (that's what it is) to your food. It tastes pretty neutral, not nasty. See below for how much to add.
3. Because of one of the bad things below, it's even cheaper than you think. The 100 caps is about a 3 month supply (possibly a 6 month supply, see below).
4. A dose (see below) lasts about 10-12 hours, so one in the morning, one at night, done.

The Bad:
1. The suggested dosage on the bottle. A quick search on Pygeum will find the only study ever done on it, and the recommended dosage of 75mg-200mg. The bottle states it's 4:1 strength pygeum extract, then says to take the equivalent of 1,000mg twice per day. Ok. even if we disregard the 4:1, it's suggesting 250mg twice per day. I'm opening the gel cap and splitting it each day, for a dosage that's 125mg (or 500mg if the 4:1 thing is true), and taking that twice a day, and it's working great.
2. Other Ingredients. Ok, more sawdust is the main 'other' ingredient (plant fiber). Maltodextrin? Why?! Silica (also known as quartz), why?! Ok magnesium stearate is fine, makes sense. The extra sawdust (plant fiber) is why these are horse pills instead of something like a standard aspirin. These could just be a little pill, harder to manufacture though.

Bottom line: it works for me. It's worth trying imo. I recommend it to anyone with this issue.
