Perfect for mixing epoxy.
Everytime I mix epoxy, I'm always looking for some sort of disposable plastic tray. I usually end up cutting up some awkwardly shaped clamshell packaging. Well, these trays looked like they'd be a considerable improvement over how I've been mixing in the past.They come stacked and wrapped. I accidentally started mixing in two trays. Which was a surprise when I found out how thin these are. Even so, the work great. This medium size is perfect for 90 percent of my application.Having a rim works great for holding the tray while mixing and adds a bit if stiffness to some what soft and flexible tray.Overall, I'm happy with using these for mixing epoxy.

I have a rather odd use for these.

I cook prepackaged food (e.g. ramen, mac & cheese) but only want to use 1/2 or 1/3 of the package at a time. So I want to measure out the correct portion of each ingredient packet and save the rest for later.

I put a weigh boat on my scale, tare it to zero, then pour in the contents of the packet. This gives me the net weight. The boat makes it easy to pour the contents back into the packet (it easily 'folds' when you pinch opposite corners together). Then I just sprinkle some out again into the boat on the scale until I get to the weight I want to use. Then each batch is perfectly seasoned.

At first I discarded each boat after use, because it stains pretty easily from some powdered ingredients. But then I just started rinsing, and they now last for many meals.

These little boats are perfect for what I needed and more. I use them to weigh out turmeric and pepper for supplement capsules that I fill myself (so much cheaper) but recently my grandson wanted to paint and this worked great as a little paint palette for his paints. I'm sure there are many uses for these and the fact that you can wipe and/or wash them out (gently) you really get a lot for the price. I would totally buy again but I have a feeling these will last me a while. Totally recommend!
