I see HOW the mouth was designed to open but the track it goes on to open is a little loose (but cannot be tightened) so often the plastic that would make it open falls into a crack and it does not open. Even when it does open it does not open how it should it is not as wide as indicated in pictures. Frustrating b/c it seems fairly easy to just make it work better and the quality seems good otherwise. Not sure why they would not fix this. I till gave it 3 stars for overall quality and cuteness - but certainly would be way more fun if the mouth opened wider.
