I had been looking for a laundry bag like this and figured I'd give it a try. It honestly feels pretty sturdy and manages to hold my laundry pretty well.

Update: A few months later and it's still going strong! My one caveat is the pads on the straps, which has to be a joke being so thin. Other than that, it's been handling loads of up to around 20 pounds with no issue.

Overall, this is a great bag. It is very well made, the straps are attached in multiple places and securely. It is designed to be carried as a backpack or any alternative 'wearing' of the straps. It is very large- will easily fit one very large load of laundry or two smaller/medium loads. In one of the photos, I have a photo of a pile that fit in with no problem (probably could have fit a couple more things in there, this was just in there comfortably). The large outer pocket can hold accessories such as separates or even detergent if you take this to a separate laundry location. This is great not only if you have a separate laundry room in your building, but for students or those who utilise a laundry mat.
As we have our own machines, one of the best uses for us is during travel. It is a great way to separate things, especially if there is no time to wash everything right away. For this particular use, the one downside is if you try to pack as lightly as possible- it is not heavy per se, but in some budget airlines which will charge for every gram, it can matter. The addition of this bag will add a little bit of weight to your luggage, but it certainly isn't horrible. But if you have a hubby who not only towers over the rest of us but gets his clothes pretty sweaty, it can certainly be worth it.
It can also potentially be used for other things, such as equipment.

Ok so when I received this laundry bag I instantly liked the cool.... and on the inside you can see it is built tougher than other bags and it's a go green product..... so the picture of the bag on the floor that's a weeks worth of clothes and there is a ton of room left... the bag has two different ways to hold it. One of them being the two nylon handles, which is perfect for loading and unloading from a vehicle or whatever.... the other way is just like a big backpack they have pads that slide to be adjusted to your comfort. On another note with the straps you can tighten and loosen to bring the bag further up on your back or low it's your preference. So as I continued going over this bag I found a very good size pocket with zipper the pocket is big enough to hold laundry detergent, fabric softener, and all your laundry needs really.. the pictures I took with me wearing it in the backpack form I just needed to adjust the straps some more to bring the bag higher so I dont look like I'm going to fall down or actually so lol. Overall, I would recommend this bag to everyone that wants to easily be organized, need something you can trust not to break while toting it around. Hope you all enough this bag as much as I am already.

So my last (canvas) laundry bag with a strap finally had it after 5 years and it's not made nay more, so I went looking for another. I found this for what I think is a good price, and had I not read the reviews I would expect a semi-cheaply-made bag that would last a couple of years. For the price, I would have done it.
The reviews surprised me, with people mentioning good quality. So I had no reservations. I have to say it lives up to my raised expectations. This bag and its straps are all really durable. The straps are well-stitched onto the bag with additional nylon strap material to re-enforce the seams. I would say the stitching is what you would see on a decent school backpack, but not double-stitched like good camping gear. I think that's fine. I also like the lighter (heavy tent-like) material vs. like a canvas. That much less weight.
I also think that having straps on a laundry bag is a huge upgrade. After my last one, I wouldn't go back to non-strap. Just toss it over your shoulder (or 2) and you still have your hands free. Toss your detergent and change in the pocket. No fumbling with doors, it just makes sense if you can fit one trip's worth. And the hand-straps are nice to hang the bag in your closet.
I got the XL and it comfortably fits a laundromat's Triple-load worth, but I think you can get more in there for the larger washer. I'm just walking from my car and it's worth it to me, but if I loved in a city and needed to walk 2 blocks this would be indispensable.

I bought this for our condo so I could schlep ski gear to/fr the building's laundry room and it holds everything. Material is that parachute material so super durable and stitching looks solid. It has both shoulder straps for wearing as a backpack and also hand straps. There is zippered pocket that is perfect for my change for the washer and dryer. This is BIG so check dimensions if you are just needing a small bag.

The string to close the opening broke on me. To be fair, i yanked it hard. But the little plastic stopper thingy never held in place. The string would always get away from it and the opening would get wider once i tried to put the backpack on. I really like this thing; clever idea.

Would i buy it again? Maybe not if there’s another option out there rated higher.

But I’ll keep using it. The front pocket is big enough to fit Tide, Fabric Softener, and dryer sheets. The zipper is surprisingly durable too; hasn’t broken yet respires how many times i yanked it close. The straps also come with a pad for comfort purposes which is convenient when carrying it on my back.

The product itself is large enough to fit all my clothes and maybe some bed linens and such (1 person, 2-3 weeks worth).

I’d recommend it. But be cautious. Don’t yank at it as hard as i do.
