I got a special stand here off Amazon that Fender makes.It sounds good going through my Joyo zombie bantamp and eminence loaded 2x12 Yamaha cab and my HX stomp running into an M1 mac mini and Kali IN5s.Great value and now I want the 7 string version.

    It is exactly what I expected. It is exactly what I wanted. I bought this guitar with the intention of changing the electronics and some stuff about it.

    If all you want is to pick up a guitar and start playing and shredding this will accomplish that goal. It's a V guitar, You're here looking for a V guitar. This is a good V guitar for its price.

    The Floyd Rose works fine, the people complaining about it seem to forget that Floyd Rose lost its licensing years ago. There's no difference anymore between a Floyd Rose licensed and an original Floyd Rose in terms of manufacturing and development. To me it seems that the worry of switching out the Floyd Rose comes from people who are looking for a very specific sound that if you don't know what you're looking for you don't have to worry about it, and if you let the strings settle properly you're going to be fine.

    It has a neck dive just like any other odd-shaped guitar. Google some ways to add weight to it and you're going to be fine. It's comfortable for what it is and I was able to pick up, tune, and shred for hours out of the box.

    10/10 would recommend.

I’ve own various guitars ( from high end les Paul’s to Esp’s , B.C Rich etc…) Been endorsed by esp and schecter toured and played professionally for years . for the money you’re not gonna find a better guitar it’s a beautiful guitar fun to play looks beautiful. I would definitely change somethings like the Floyd rose and maybe even the pickups before hitting the stage !

    I always wanted a V just because. An old school gibson was always on my wish list. They are way too expensive if you are trying to get a legit original 70's/80's model. I settled for the next best thing an affordable king V. I looked at reviews and people raved about the necks and pick ups. I ordered it up and had to send the first one back bc the neck was not up to my standard. Nice shape but backside along the trim of the 1st and 2nd fret a position the neck had not been sanded completely. So she went back in the box and i ordered a replacement. The replacement finally came. It arrived and the neck checked out dor the most part. There was still some roughness at the base where it meets the body. More of a machining texture from the cut. I can live with that. The bridge needed serious adjustment it came in the back position. It needed endless adjustment as a floyd rose generally needs. The lock nuts could be bigger so to not let your strings slip while stringing. Probably want to upgrade those. It comes with 9's i would shoot for 10's. The fine tuners could be machined better, they are a bit touch and go. The neck was fairly dry and needed oiling and there was some type of debris stuck to the fretboard which came off with oiling. The hardware for the tone switch was roughed up when put on. The frets could use deburring as well. I could live with all of this it being a 400 dollar guitar. Then i got down to tweaking my tone. I crouched down to adjust some eq then the horn barely tapped against the floor only to chip as soon as i started to get to playing. I know horn chips are common with this design but it was ridiculous. The top coat is cheap and weak, maybe 2 mil. Shape plays a rile with weakness. I expected more from jackson. I am going to have to wrap this thing and spray with some automotive paint to fix this chip. Insane.... i recommend buying the extended warranty for the extra 30 bucks or so. I was overly cautious and sober as hell (as i am) and this still happened to me. I am stuck with the you break it you buy it. Fortunately it is not an overly expensive guitar and i can do the body work. The pick ups are high output so uf you are using a distortion pedal like a metal zone you may have to back up the high and low eq. They really hit those frequencies so it will cause some hard muddy squaring if you drive them too hard. I found backing off and pushing the gain on my fender mustang fills out the tone. You will have to play with things a bit to really see what these pick ups have to offer. They can be full and warm when clean. Feel them out.
