My cat used to wince when I used the BD brand of syringes for his shots. These don't seem to bother him even though they are a larger gauge. Definitely buying more of these when he next needs them.

I use these for B-12 shots. The price of this box is much cheaper than what the pharmacy wants to charge per individual syringe.

You have to be careful with the thin needle because it can bend easily going into the vial but using care, the injection is hardly felt, unlike larger gauge needles, e. g. 25g which I use to use.

Wrapping. Half inch insulin syringes are pretty much the same but I dislike unwrapping individual needles. I've been injecting insulin approximately 4 times per day for 35 years and dislike wasting my time on removing them from plastic wrappers.

However, initially I didn’t check them to make sure there wasn’t any burrs or barbs on the needles and it is very painful if you get one of those needles so they’re probably five or six and this 100 count package if you just run your fingernails down both sides before, you will find them and throw them away
