Have you folks noticed in these past years that products that were once much larger in size or much more in quantity are now smaller? Candy bars, boxes of cereal or pasta, bottled beverages are all losing volume and weight while costing more. And this stuff is another example albeit a more blatant and almost offensive one.
Even though companies are making their product smaller you would expect at least the product before. That is not so with Hoppe’s. Both the lubricating oil and the No. 9 bore cleaner are literally about 3/4 full. Unopened, I put a flashlight to the other side of the bottle and you can blatantly tell that it is not filled completely. Never have I purchased I can’t oil that wasn’t filled to the top. Oh the money they must be making by trying to short their customers. Now, some may want to put up with this, but as a first time buyer, nope, I am now turned into an only time buyer. Sad.

The bore cleaner is half full and the orange bottle is 3/4 full. The only full bottle is the little one in the package because that’s transparent! Maybe you can get 6-7 cleanings out of it. Don’t buy it!
