We have a portable pop up shower privacy tent, so we wanted to get a shower bag to use with it when we go camping or also use it in our backyard to shower when we go to the beach so that we could wash off the sand before entering our home. The solar bag has a non-slip handle that we use to attach to our shower privacy tent. We wanted to get a solar bag so that the water could be heated by the sun rather than bathing in cold, freezing water. It can heat up water to 113 degrees Fahrenheit in three (3) hours in direct sunlight This shower bag can hold five (5) gallons or twenty (20) liters which is a lot of water. It is lightweight, foldable and easy to transport and store.
The front side has a twist cap to add water and a small mesh pocket to hold shampoo or soap. The back has a temperature indicator, so that you can see the temperature of the water in both Fahrenheit or Celsius. There is a plastic shower head and clear hose to attach the shower head to the solar bag. The shower head can be easily switched to on and off. There is a velcro strap to hold the hose and shower. The clear hose seems a little flimsy, but if it breaks or a hole develops, you can easily replace it with a clear hose from Lowe’s or Home Depot which is inexpensive to replace.

We hung it high in the tree every day after it warmed the water. Easy to use, and did the job just great.

A few items about this product that screams quality vs- the others. The big easy fill screw on cap made it easy to fill. The rugged handle goes over the shoulder when carrying it full of water, and un-clips to connect to a rope to lift it up. The clear rubber hose did not kink. After a day in in 80-degree sun, the water was a comfortable 105 degree Fahrenheit. 2 of us took showers, and had water left over to rinse the dinner dishes after we washed the dishes.By Randy on August 21, 2020
