I wanted a replacement for the crap DI box that came with the meinl cocktail cajon kit, and this is INFINITELY better than the plastic crap that the meinl kit comes with. It's a sturdy metal box, it's extremely intuitive for where to plug inputs vs where to plug in the output, and it's super easy to use straight out of the box. There's no power on/off - plugging in the power will act as "on", and unplugging it acts as "off"For someone who does not know what I'm talking about, and just as an all around review: I'll say that I'm plugging in electronic drums that have their own independent inputs and volume knobs to this DI box. I'm getting the best sound output by turning all the volumes to max on this box, and then using the individual volume controls on the drums and amp. I would guess that this might be the best way to get optimized volume for other instruments - turn the volume to max on this box, and then control the volume as needed on the individual instruments and amp.Very pleased overall with the ease of usage straight out of the box. Very happy that this works on my drum kit

    I have been thoroughly amazed by the quality of this mixer.

    This mixer takes 4 sources and combines them into one. But it doesnt just combine them, it runs each source through its own mini amp. This allows for good volume control of the sources, along with preventing any sort of feedback or noise traveling back up the wrong way. It keeps each source completely separate.

    This separation keeps the noise incredibly low. On top of that, each little mini amp is incredibly clean. In most situations, I might as well be running my DACs straight to my proper headphone amp or speakers.

    If you have any trouble with static or noise, check the wires you used. Any sort of noise introduced from a bad wire or adapter will be very audible. With one cable, I could hear when I moved my mouse or dragged an element in a work space. I couldnt tell you how the wire was picking it up, but swapping it and the 1/4inch adapter for that input fixed the issue. If you have noise, its likely not because of the mixer.

    In the end, I love this mixer more than any regular receiver. No input switching, just listen. I originally got this so I could listen to my records without having to stop watching streams or working on my computer. I didnt want to have to get a separate sound system just for the record player. I also didnt want to have to switch between the 2 because i needed the audio from my computer as well. Combining the signals with a regular splitter was a big no no. Any time the record player wasnt running, it would distort the combined signal. Now i can listen to records, play/work on my computer, with an additional source for my robot voice assistant to also crank out when i ask it to. Just for me, its simple and easy.

    Im sure that any Pro user, actually using this mixer for a professional, more intended purpose, will find this little mixer to be absolutely perfect for most applications.

    Got this primarily to control talk back microphones between our band’s musicians. Great job. Simple, small, easy to tuck just about anywhere on stage that’s out of sight. I will say tho, I had to bring up the gain on our board quite a bit to give us decent control on stage, which made the noise floor of this pretty noticeable. But nothing you can’t get used to. It’s not that bad, at least not for us.

    I have been using this for the last 4 month and the mixer is doing what is suppose to mix the adio from different sources, now i dont use this for music but for playing, i got a Astro a40 trX and realize the ps4 controller does not provide enought power to make the work probaly because they are 50ohm, so i decided to get the astro mix amp but i read on the comments that is garbage y i got it separatly, so i decided to use a mixer to separate and power the audio form the game and the chat, now i have the audio coming out of the tv to the mixer using a optical cable converter to trs, and also the audio frm the chat using a usb audio out on the ps4, now i cant lower down the sound of the chat(because we always have that friend who likes to yell on the game when they die) and increase the sound of the game, by way the mixer seems to have and amplifier option due to i cant rise the volume to 100% or the sound will blow my head, with having it on the middle is more than enough, i also have a bluetooth receiver conected to one of the audio in, and can play music from the phone and listen to the 3 audio sources at the same time.

    I have probably complicated myself by doing all this, but i have no regreats.

    I saw people saying this is not dual channel, but i have no problems wearing headphones with this, i can locate footsteps sound really fast and clear and music sound incredible, i looking to get a audiophile headphones to the mixer power.

    I said i thing this thing may have an aplifier but now im sure, i justo got the massdrop sennheise hd 6xx and as you know those are 300ohm, and the mixer can drive then on easely and make then works so good that i believe im been hearing to trash all my life, now i play on the ps4 with the hd 6xx and still get a great sound quality, so if you are planning to use this on a really heavy audiofile headphones(no more than 300ohm because i have no tested any of then yet) buy this you wony be dissapointed

    I bought this 4-Channel Line Mixer, to mix a dry signal and the processed signal from an Acoustikar Acoustic Guitar Simulator Pedal. The Acoustikar pedal produced too strong of an effect. This little mixer allowed me to dial in the desirable amount of effect perfectly. Its size and quality are perfect for my needs since this is part of my pedal board setup. The mixer is quiet, and I have not heard any noise while adjusting the levels, perhaps they address that issue in the last few years.

    The only negative is that it runs off of 12 volts instead of 9 volts like the rest of my other petals. This requires me to use the supplied 12 volt power supply along with the 9 volt Power supply I use with my other petals.

    On the whole, this mixer does exactly what it's advertised to do, At an extremely affordable price.

    I really wanted to like this. It’s a nice build and is quiet on the inside ….but on the outside … the dials are just horrible and I mean HORRIBLE to use!
    Whoever made the decision to put smooth shiny aluminum dials was going for looks and not function. DO NOT BUY if like me you are in wanting to quickly change instrument on stage and turn one up and one down quickly …these dials will screw you over! You could buy some cheap plastic dials to overcome some of the issues but that’s throwing money at the problem.

    DESIGN FLAWS:
    1/. The metal dials are highly polished and so have no grip to the point where when you go to turn the pots (which are quite stiff) the dial actually slides in your fingers as you twist. It takes several turns of the dial to turn up or down fully.
    2/. In addition, the white swoosh marker graphic on the casing showing 0 -10 (180 degrees of rotation) is not matched to the amount that pot actually turns. It actually rotates much further through 270 degrees ie. 3/4 of the way round from ‘nothing’ to ‘max’. This amount of rotation makes it hard to figure at a glance if you are at full volume or whether just a quarter of a turn away, you are actually on zero volume (see photos - the dial on the left is on minimum, the dial on the right is on maximum).
    3/. To make matters worse the top of the dial is highly reflective so confuses seeing where the top of dial white line is at as there can be several reflections .
    4/.It also arrived nearly three weeks late but that’s probably Canada Post as a courier.

    It’s going back as the dials make it unusable on stage for my purpose.

    Good sound output.
    Used Ahuja Mic & Tablet as input and Speaker as output. Had to use a 3.5mm female to 6.5 mm male & two 3.5mm aux wires for the tablet & speaker.
    Worked wonderfully.
