Ever since he first set foot in Harrisburg, Tennant’s life has been a rollercoaster. Ups and downs too numerous to mention, hard knocks and championship rings. Is it wrong to think seriously about kidnapping Ten and spiriting him away to a small deserted island?

I have truly enjoyed all the books in this series, but weddingplanning taken dead seriously? Utterly boring.

This series used to be fun and sexy with character development and interesting storyline. But cramming a novella full of all the clishes with bulldozer-ish wedding planning from all sides and a totally uninterested couple who are looking for an escape from it all is so used up it’s not even funny.

I can be bothered to finish this. I have better things to do like alphabetazing some old newspapers or something.

I can see that maybe if you haven’t been following along with the Railers, this may not be of great interest to you. But....if (like me) you are a BIG fan of this series, it is a lovely continuation of Ten and Jared's love story.

Because I adore wedding stories, watching the planning and then the culmination of the wedding itself was very enjoyable to read. I had moments of hilarity with Ten's mom and sisters-in-law, as well as the teammates, along with tender swoony feelings at the wedding. I love these characters so much and being a part of their HEA was just what I needed. (4.5 stars)

The authors bring the main arc of the Harrisburg Railers full circle by completing it with Tennant and Jared, whose romance started it all. This novella covers the three weeks leading up to their wedding. It includes everyone we've come to love in the series - the Railers and their families, the Rowes, the Otawanna guys where logical - without feeling forced. I really enjoyed seeing Ten and Jared getting their HEA - they've had challenges which we've seen through the other books, shorts, and novellas. I feel like I understand their relationship in a way that I didn't in their first story, as we've seen them living it.

I very seldom laugh out loud when reading, but you had me laughing so loud, I scared my dog Oliver. It was all such a hoot and when poor Stan made yet another divot and the ball only went inches, I really lost it as much as the other team members did. Only good writing let's you actually be there. If you haven't read this series, I highly recommend you go back and start at the beginning. You will certainly not regret it.

Have to read in order to get the most out of it.
Can't decide who I like better, Ten or Stan. Ten is so sweet & Stan is crazy in a good way. The stuff that comes out of his mouth is hysterical. My dad tried to build a rink in our backyard after Bruins won the cup in 1973. It was a disaster, but fun too. Got to play even if I was a girl.
Owatonna series fits right in, as I sure will the Raptors. Hope there are more Railers books though. Can't get enough of that team!
