The only reason for FOUR stars is I can’t vouch or have a means to test its accuracy. I was measuring current draw and at 10A I had 0.005A reading. So when I switched to mA setting and it gave me 7.7mA reading instead of 5.0mA I expected I don’t know which to go by. Other than that I am very pleased with how good it feels and seems well built. And most likely accurate.

I was very impressed at first sight - then the feel of this meter is solid and you can tell that you just bought a great product at a very fair price. The display is large and easy to read - and the backlight is very nice - evenly lit and brighter than other meters costing much more. The rubberized case is grippy and the IP67 rating means that it will stay clean internally and dry. And this comes with the drop test - so you know it is built solid. I opened it up to see the circuit board and was amazed to see the most robust protection circuit that I've seen I a meter - at any cost. It has VFD which is a low pass filter for noisy power. It is True RMS and 6000 count, so the accuracy is there too. The min Max feature also records the difference Max-min. Just impressive.

This also comes with a roomy case and plugs for the two ports not being used to keep it water proof to the IP67, which also keeps them clean when not in use. The meter leads are not silicon but are very nice.

I'm very surprised at the precision specs for this device, given the price. It's a good, chunky, unit with a nice grippy texture that feels like it could easily survive falling off the bench. The controls are easy enough to use (provided you know what you're doing - if not you could resort to reading the manual that is provided). Like another reviewer, I initially couldn't get the meter to read ANYTHING on any setting, but when it feels like you've inserted the probe plugs into the meter, you haven't. Just push them a bit more and they make a good, snug, fit. Then you're in business.

This multimeter has advanced functions that my other multi meters don’t have. The price is low compared to similar meters. One thing I like about it is the Storage case because everything fits in it. However, and this is a big thing, it did not work until I repaired it. When I set it up, the display was on, but I could get no readings at all. I checked it the test leads with my other multimeter and found they were good. We were about to send it back when I suspected that the test leads were not making contact with the input jacks. So, I expanded each of the plugs using a probe. Once the metal connectors were expanded, they made connections with the input jacks. Then, the display came alive and I was able to perform several functions to test the operation of the meter. In my tests, the meter operated as expected. I decided to keep the meter since it appears to be working. I hope this is the only problem I have with this meter.

This multimeter 90DM600 is really solid built of quality materials for professional use. Loaded with all of the new up to date features. Excellent quality for half the price of the brand name stuff like Fluke and all or most are now made in China.It has the ability to do all of the necessary testing that an electrician or electronics technician would need. At first use it appears to be extremely accurate, and easy to operate. I would highly recommend it for the semi-pros.
