Well worth it

So I decided to get my kids (3yo & 1yo) this table because of the many different things they can use it for (eating, playing, coloring, etc). I decided on this one because of the price as well as me having great experiences with Delta in the past. It took about 20 minutes to put together using a power drill (which if you do use make sure you are screwing SLOWLY like hand speed slow!!) I've read some reviews that the pieces arrived scratched or are easily scratchable. Mine came with 0 scratches (maybe it was the way others may have removed theirs from the box). I put mine flat on the floor so its a square and opened it by cutting the sides and making it flap open like a book (as my father taught me was the best way to open boxes to assemble furniture so that you don't harm the furniture). It was set in a sturdy styrofoam with a slim piece of styrofoam on top. I used that thin slim styrofoam as a cushion when i put everything together (again to spare any damage). I noticed that one of the sides of the table may not have been painted all the way but it is a tiny area on the side edge toward the bottom so no one is going to see it, and that was the only issue with the paint. (I also read this to be an issue with a lot of them so I'm happy I got the "better" batch). I did however put a little too much speed into drilling the screw so one of the support bars for the chair have a little hairline split in the wood. Overall though it was super easy to put together and my daughter definitely enjoys it (hoping it lasts for my 1yo to enjoy it too)

I got this table and chair set for my son’s first birthday. He actually sits at it and does his activities. It is very nice and sturdy and solid. There are a few areas on the chair and table top where I see a little bit of paint missing, but no big issue for me as I know it will get scratched up. The assembly was fairly easy. No issues or parts missing. I think I like the table with just the two chairs. I thought about buying two more; but nah..

The chairs are sturdy and easy to assemble, I just wish they had something to cover the screws, like some other furniture does. But I guess it’s a choking hazard, if the pieces come off.
I gave it 4 stars bc it scratched much easier than I expected. It’s only an hour old and already damaged. But that’s life with kids, right? But I definitely love this little set! And my daughter does too!

This table is super cute, well made, and easy to assemble. I’ve only had my 20 month old daughter using it for about an hour, and so far I only have 1 complaint - the surface scratches easily. It seems a very hard wood with a nice smooth finish, but when I turned her puzzles over to get the pieces out, the plastic of the little puzzle piece handles scratched the surface. It’s not deep - not enough to get down below the paint surface, but it’s visible in certain light. Definitely would recommend getting a clear plastic cover for it, to start out with, so the table doesn’t get completely ruined.
