About the Author

Delia Owens est née en 1949 en Géorgie, aux États-Unis. Diplômée en zoologie et biologie, elle a vécu plus de vingt ans en Afrique et a publié trois ouvrages consacrés à la nature et aux animaux, tous best-sellers aux USA.

Marie du Bled est une actrice belge, née en 1986. Elle s’est notamment formée à l’IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion). Elle pratique régulièrement le doublage, et a tourné dans le film
Ultranova (2004). Elle a reçu, en 2021, le Prix Audiolib pour sa lecture de Là où chantent les écrevisses. --This text refers to the audioCD edition.

Delia Owens is the co-author of three internationally bestselling nonfiction books about her life as a wildlife scientist in Africa including Cry of the Kalahari.

She has won the John Burroughs Award for Nature Writing and has been published in Nature, The African Journal of Ecology, and many others.

She currently lives in Idaho. Where the Crawdads Sing is her first novel.
