I’m 5’6” 140 lbs, ordered a small, should have ordered a medium. The waistline did not hit in the right place for my torso, and had that lovely FUPA effect instead of the loose top that hangs over the waistband. Speaking of, the drawstring was outrageously long, but that’s an easy enough fix with a pair of scissors.
I am returning because it is not flattering when stretched the length of my torso, but am still debating whether to order it in a medium. The fabric was lightweight, soft, comfortable, and not see-through. The shorts were a good length despite the overall length not being enough. I feel like I just didn’t love it enough to want to see if the medium would fit like the pictures? It seems like shorts-section would be longer and baggier than I want. This is probably ideal for petite people, and I am shaped the opposite.
Update: I was notified that it went on sale, and gave the medium a try in dark blue, instead of the grey I initially ordered. I don’t know if the color change helped contribute, or if it just needed to be a medium, but I was MUCH happier with it (and actually cut the tags off this time). The drawstring was a normal length this time, and while there still wasn’t much extra material to hang over it when tightened, it was flattering and comfortable in this size. I love that you can wear a normal bra with it; I MAY actually go back and order another one or two…
