I have always loved fantasy books. But there are not many with female main characters. The exception is The Age of Change. This is an epic fantasy, but where the main character is a woman. This is one of the reasons I liked this book.
It was a good story, with interesting characters and a hook that kept me turning pages.
The book is filled with incredible protagonists, which grow page by page, and which are guided by different motives and goals. Each of them has its own flaws and strengths.
We get to know each character as the story moves between the four main characters. We get to understand their thoughts, desires and motives.
This is an interesting story full of twists. The world that is created is fascinating and attractive.
I have never seen a story told this way in any other book. It was refreshing and exciting. There were some very predictable and expected turns, but the adventure itself attracted me to the last few pages of the book.
The environment and the world setting are typical of an epic fantasy book, but at the same time are beautiful and incredibly attractive. Although the scenery is constantly changing, the descriptions provide enough details to immerse yourself in the world.
