I got this adapter so I could use a nice pair of headphones that I had abandoned after upgrading my iPhone and so far it has been working as expected.
You get 2 adapters in a simple resealable bag which I recommend you keep so you can easily find the dongle if stored in a backpack or bag with deep pockets. The build quality is decent and it looks sturdy enough for everyday use. My biggest concern was if it would affect sound quality and I'm happy to report that I haven't noticed any changes.
One thing to have in mind this is for audio output only. I tried to use it with a microphone and it did not work. The product description does say `Adapter DOES NOT “phone calling function”.' so that's probably what they mean with that. Not a deal breaker for me but you should have that in mind if you're considering this adapter to use with a microphone.
