To be honest, when I first looked at this book on Amazon, I thought this was just another one of the myriad self-help/motivation books. As I read the description of the book, and the introduction that Amazon allows you to preview, I discovered that the author doesn't just lecture you on what she thinks you should be doing, or asking yourself, she engages you through question and answer exercises. This piqued my interest enough to purchase this book and I am glad I did. As expected, I read each section and did the exercises at the end of each section. I found the author's inclusion of her real life experiences invaluable in that they helped me to dig deeper into how I viewed my life and the events that have shaped what I am today.
Having completed every exercise, I now have clarity with regard to certain aspects of my life that I had previously failed to analyze thoroughly. I have had some high points and low points in my life, as we all have had. Some have haunted me with the constant "what-if" question over the years. This book has helped me to finally move on. While there are some things you can never forget, this book should lead most readers to be more at peace with the past, better able to deal with the present, and to be better prepared to plan their future.
There are very few books that I classify as must read; this book is one of them.
