Great family night projector for our patio!! We decided since we spend so much time I our patio to get a projector.. we don’t trust putting a tv outside Incase it gets stolen, this way once we’re done with the projector we can take it down And put it in our garage storage. We wanted a small one that was in expensive. This one seemed decent so we got it.
Arrived and my husband put it up few days later. We had bought a retractable screen to go with it so we didn’t have to keep putting it up and down we could just roll it up and done. I downloaded a few movies to a thumb drive that the kids picked out and planned to do movie nights during our dinners... Our patio is very dark when we don’t have any of the lights on so it’s perfect to watch in that location.
First movie we watched we watched played well with no problems so we decided to do again the next night. The only thing I suggest is if you’re watching outside you may want to add additional speakers cause outdoor noise and size will make it soft depending how far you are from the projector. The speaker sound is loud and great if it’s close to you. We hooked up speakers to it the next movie night and it made a huge difference, we could no longer hear the cars passing. The picture quality is clear, we have a 3 foot by 4 foot screen and is fits well to that size without any blurring or fuzziness. I believe the quality of the screen makes a difference as well and we got a good screen.
The hook up was very easy, just plug in the thumb drive and use the remote to guide you in options.
We have made this a regular thing, it’s helping us bond as a family, the kids are not on their devices all evening, we invited our neighbors over and they loved the idea of a mini theater in our patio!!!
The quality of the projector itself is nice, durable and light weight. It’s small enough to fit on our patio table and not be in the way, minimal cable hold ups since the speakers are built in and thumb drive is small! We have been using this at least 3-4 times a week during dinner (not always do we finish the movie but we continue on the next time). It’s so much cooler to sit in our patio... I planned to have a movie night for my sons birthday and have all his friends over, Beats paying for each tO see a movie at the theater!
We as a family is Very much happy with this projector. Based on quality, price, size and functions it’s turned out to be a great family asset and we will continue to use this till we burn out out!! Ideal family entertainment!! Use indoors or outdoors!
