Overall the book was enjoyable and contained few editorial errors. Three characters are distinct and we get history on each of the main ones.
Magic exists and the "instant emotional bond" trope is used but nothing too extreme. Seems like a good setup for a series.

Until 1 day he accidentally kisses a girl and his life is changed forever. First thing to happen is that he has to adopt 5 pirates into his home, the the world wants them dead. He will Not let anyone harm these women under his protection and his hero skills are put to the test. Ya he has sex with most of them and its fun.
Adventures arise and the future is unknown.
This was a fun read and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

I just discovered this fine author through another author I follow, and was curious about which book to read first. Based on this title, I expected a light-hearted humorous romp, but I was very surprised at what I found. Eden has an innate talent at world-building, and her characters are very well crafted. The storyline had a nice flow to it, and the sexual content was an integral part of the story, and not just a gratuitous "let's add some sex here" addition. After enjoying this book, I only have one question: "Why the Hell Did I Not Know About Eden Redd 6 Years Ago?"

This is NOT a young adult book, nor some kind of manga or picture book. This is a fully fleshed out adult novel in the HaremLit genre. It's an excellent series with superheroes and supervillians. Pirates with a heart of gold and bad pirates. An evil empire with an evil emperor. Magic. A believable harem. A not-overpowered main character (MC). Good writing. A page-turning plot. And elves...lots of elves of varying species. Lots of situations where you wonder how the characters will escape death. I'd call it epic light fantasy.

Highly recommended, especially if you're not familiar with Eden Redd's work.

You can never be too certain what to expect when walking into another of Eden’s fantasies. But one thing you can be certain of is that you’ll be entertained. The story of Jonathon Song, Lilly Silk, and their crew, friends, and lovers, is a heartwarming but enticing tale of love, sensual encounters, danger, and growth. I very much enjoyed the varied personalities of the crew and the effect their budding relationship had on Jon. As well as learning the back stories of them all as individuals and seeing how they came to be around him. Top it off with an epic finale and the desire for more, as every book should leave you, and it’s a great story I highly recommend reading!

I like Eden Redd already. Succubus Dungeon is a masterpiece.

But I just found a new favorite. This book was so good!

First, it is a light novel, but it did not feel short. It was a complete story prepped for the next chapter.

Second, this story took me by surprise. I expected the laughs and relationship hijinxs, which were all there and we'll written. I did not expect the surprise background of the MC. It was surprising and unique. I will not spoil the surprise but it was a great idea that changed the story from that point on.

Well done, Eden. I am impressed....again. Cant wait for the next installment!!

I read this book a little while ago and have already rated and reviewed it on Goodreads, This is a great fun read different from Edens usual work, I often recognise an authors style in a new book or series but no so much with this story, its refreshingly new but just as good. Although light hearted the story still draws you in. I understand Amazon have had difficulty categorising this novel correctly, hope they manage to sort it and get it the exposure it deserves as I'm looking forward to more adventures with the elves.

There's actually a good story here. It's not what you would expect from elves, since it's not very often that they are depicted as anything but forest-dwellers.

MC is kinda annoying at the start, but his personality starts to change (for the better) midway thru the story. The FMCs aren't half bad either, each different enough that their identities don't overlap.

The only thing I would change is the cover. Made me skip the book the first time I saw it, which is a shame.
