Having a server power supply that was in need of a replacement Mylar-film capacitor, after searching first at the only local electronics supply store in the city where I live and finding they simply had no stock (of just about anything, sadly) I began looking online. Sometimes when I'm attempting to source something such as this particular capacitor I'll find what I need, in the number that I need and even sometimes at a price I am willing to pay. In this case it wasn't that this simple electronic part wasn't available online or it was too expensive for what it is, no and this is becoming all to frequent, it was anybody I found online that offered the part, needed a week plus to get it shipped. So once again, I turned to Amazon and willingly accepted a box of 375 capacitors that would be delivered to my door the next day. And at a price that was extremely reasonable. Yeah, I only needed one and I got 375, but honestly I'm sure I will wind up using some of this selection in other repairs and projects. Gone are the days when I could have driven over to Fry's Electronics or even a Radio Shack (I honestly never thought I would admit missing Radio Shack, but now I do). For what it's worth, I am grateful that when I really need something, no matter how off-the-wall, if I can't find it on eBay then I'll most likely find it on Amazon. This is what the world has come to. Oh well, the power supply is running solidly again.

Nice, but miss-sorted, some items missing, hard to read.
Update: These capacitors are very accurate, always better than the 5% rating and often very close to exact value. So, despite a number of them being missing and having to resort them myself (time already invested), I'm keeping them. Original review issues below still stand. First, it's a great assortment that covers all my basic needs for electronics dabbling and guitar tone caps and filter caps. I like the green "Chiclet" caps... maybe I'm just old school, but they're home for me. 100v size so they are not too large physically. But, on the other side, the printing on them is barely legible. I'm not speaking of size... it's just very lightly printed. You need a magnifier to read them - even the larger ones. If that wasn't bad enough, they arrive all miss-sorted and mixed in the bins. I spent over an hour sorting through them with a coin magnifier to get them in the right places. Also, they are short the stated number for about 10 different capacities. It's only one or two in each category, but if you really need the exact number they state they are supplying, then you might not want this assortment. Oddly, they are only over quantity in one category. The container they are in is actually very good and latches tightly (a feature). But that means that they didn't get mixed up in shipping: they were loaded at the factory into the wrong bins by a careless worker or inaccurate machine. I'll see how I feel about them after some testing. I've considered returning them but I don't have any confidence that the next package will be sorted any better or have all the proper values. So, I'll likely base that on how accurate they measure.
