I have the official cable from Oculus yes, the £80 one :( as I thought I wouldn't have any problems with it. I was kinda wrong. Brand new self built PC, top specs for 2020 (3090 and a AMD 5950X) but the front USB C connection was a bit loose so tried the rear of the motherboard, still didn't work very well, hit and miss. Scratched my head and remembered I bought this over a year ago and never used it. Plugged it into the rear of the Crosshair VIII hero WiFi and hey presto no more problems, speed test = 2.7Gbps

I needed to connect my new USB C devices to my old computer and this handy little converter works extremely well, covering all bases, from charging my Samsung S9 to my new headset and my latest USB 3.1 storage device. It all works great as does exactly what it says on the packet. I particularly bought this device for my headset as some of these devices do not claim to do audio and are just for charging. I have since bought more of this device and I would recommend it, they are great value and so far I have not had any issues or cause for complaint.
