    Trying to hook my PC to the local monitor (HDMI ports only) and the nearby tv (HDMI ports only). My graphics card (RTX 2070 Super) only has 1 HDMI but 3 DisplayPort connections. This cable adapts the DP output to HDMI for the monitor to understand. I haven't tested the other way around, but the cable is listed as INPUT and OUTPUT, so I don't believe this cable is reversible, just an FYI.
