They are a little cheap in quality, but they work as intended for everything that I use them for. I use them to connect USB-C cables to my USB-A ports on my desktop computer, or to charge my phone using USB-c cables to connect to older USB-a charge hubs. Only knock it’s that they are not meant for 3.0 speed USB drives.

These adapters do what they're supposed to do. They work as a power adapter if you're plugging into a wall socket, and they can transfer both power and data if you're plugging into a computer.

I put the Nimaso adapter's data speeds to the test by plugging a USB-C hub into my laptop's USB-A 3.0 port (I show the 2-port hub in action in one of my photos). All devices I rotated into the 2-port hub supported either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 speeds; a wireless keyboard & mouse, a web cam, and an external hard drive. Everything worked simultaneously and effectively through the Nimaso adapter.

Caveat: The Nimaso adapter can't increase the data speed of whatever USB-A port you plug into. If you use this Nimaso adapter to plug in a USB-C device that requires USB 3.1 into an old USB-A 2.0 port, that old port will still be too slow to transmit the data. Similarly, the Nimaso adapter can't magically make a USB-A port do things you're supposed to use your laptop's USB-C port to do. For example, I have a USB-C to HMDI adapter that works on my laptop's USB-C port, but plugging the same USB-C to HDMI adapter in my USB 3.0 port via the Nimaso adapter wouldn't send an HDMI signal to my monitor.

If what you need is a simple, relatively compact USB-C to USB-A adapter for devices that work at USB 3.0 speeds or lower, then this adapter should meet your needs, and the fact that you get 3 in a pack is a convenient bonus. I'm keeping one at my desk, one in my laptop bag, and one in my car. Each includes a keychain loop, and they feel rugged, but I don't plan to put them through the abuse of living in my pocket with scratchy keys and lint.

My father was the technology person, and taught me all in the beginning, and is the real reason I'm so into technology now. But it's come to the point, and especially with evolutions of phones and cords, in that aspect, I've become way smarter than him.

Introducing a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra phone, they come with USB-C double ended cords. My father got me tickets with my mother to a beach festival late summer, and then on Amazon he saw a deal for a Battery Pack that could do solar charging!! It's a sleek design.

The only caveat that he didn't realize, is that the only output is USB 2.0. And he didn't realize my newer phones didn't come with these cords.

I figured like everything, there MUST be something I could do, and this little gadget is exactly the solution.

Now, if your looking for it to increase the charging speeds of the device, it won't. It will allow you to charge your device, at the fastest speed that the device outputs electricity.

But what I want is for this solar battery pack to just be able to keep juice coming into my phone. It doesn't have to go at a super fast speed, so this little device solves the almost dilemma.

I needed this to use in my car's USB port, my portable charger and my desktop computer. I just upgraded to iPhone 12 which does not come with a charger but does have the USB-C cable. I made sure this would transfer pictures, video and charge my phone. It does all of that. I like the cord that comes on them so I can attach it to a key chain or something to be able to hang onto it better. I have not used that, yet. I don't know how it compares with anything else for charging speed. I read that you can use them on your charger but it makes it charge more slowly than having just the usual USB-C charger. I don't find the charging speed a problem. It works just fine for me. It doesn't seem slow. But I never used any fast chargers before. I guess I'm not as impatient as some.

sturdy nice product it seems like it didn't work when i first got it but i am not sure how it works but i notice it only works one way being that type C being that it suppose to work in either direction. but once i tried several different cables and they all seems to work only in one direction. once i was able to figure that out these things are great i absolutely love them its doesnt takes less than five seconds to figure out which way to plug it in for the price i can overlook that small inconvenience if you really want to call that an inconvenience.......

I bought these USB C to USB 3.0 Adapters because the wireless adapter for my Steel Series headset is USB C. They include a USB C to USB 3.0 cable that is 4 feet long! These adapters are very compact, much nicer than the 4 foot cable included, and as there are 3 in a pack, I'm able to put one on my PS5, and one on my Xbox Series X, and swap the wireless adapter back and forth. It is so much easier, and looks much better than a coiled up 4 foot cable. Plus, in low light, it's much easier to plug the wireless USB C adapter into these because they stick out a little bit and are easier to see.

Feeling from the hand, it is solid, not like my other Samsung USB-C adaptors. Well build, also comes with three.

Before I have loads of USB-macro b cables and adaptors, nowadays I discover that most of my gadgets are using USB-C. I already set for future proof products when I bought cables, hubs, memory sticks with type-C USB 3.1 for my phones. What I need now is some type-c adaptors like these.

Tested on my Samsung Tab 6 on my fast charger, it works great.
Tested on my Type-C hub, it works with all the USB devices attached. The reason I need this because my laptop has one type-c port, and when I plug in my external type-c drive, I cannot use the hub, now this adaptor is handy, It changed my type-c USB hub back to a type-A USB hub.

Also, my USB C to C cable can be used with my power bank to charge my phone when I am not at home.

A lot of combinations to use with your USB Type-C gadgets when you have all these Type-C accessories.

Also to mention that the connection is very good and not loose at the Type-C port on the adaptor.

Only USB 2.0 speed - NOT 5Gbps

Please note, that whilst advertised as being USB 3.0 (5Gbps) the best I could achieve is 40.9MB/s i.e. USB 2.0 speed. Tested with different USB 3.0 ports and with both USB C Gigabit adaptors and a USB C NVMe disk - all of which work at expected USB 3.0 speed when connected direct to a USB C host port but only at USB 2.0 speed (<480Mbps) when connected via these adaptors to a USB 3.0 Type A port. The NVMe disk has both Type A and Type C cables so I know the USB 3.0 Type A port is fine.
Will be returning for a refund as not as described. I should have expected this given they are priced to similar adaptors that don't claim USB 3.0 speed!

Cet adaptateur (vendu par 3) est d’excellente qualité. Aussi beau en vrai que sur la photo. Corps en aluminium, finitions et contacts parfaits d’un côté comme de l’autre. Les dragonnes apportent un plus assez chic et pratique, bien que de mon côté, j’ai fait le choix de les retirer préférant la sobriété, mais je n’exclus pas de m’en servir un jour.

Il répond parfaitement au besoin recherché, à condition toutefois de connecter la fiche de votre câble USB C dans le bon sens au niveau de l’adaptateur, sans quoi ça ne chargera pas si vous l’utilisez pour charger un périphérique externe, ou vous ne serez qu’en USB 2.0 au lieu de l’USB 3.0 si vous l’utilisez pour du transfert de données, même avec un câble USB C 5Gbps et l'adaptateur branché sur une fiche USB 3.0.

On croit au départ que le standard USB C est universel, peu importe le sens, qu’un câble USB C est un câble USB C, mais non ! On trouve des câbles USB C qui ne sont en fait capables de communiquer qu’en USB 2.0 (480 Mbps), et d’autres qui sont capables d’échanger en USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) ou plus, et au niveau du sens, c’est pareil. Le « peu importe » est valable pour les connexions d’USB C à USB C mais comme nous sommes ici dans le cas particulier d’une adaptation d’USB 3.0 à USB C, il faut choisir le bon sens au niveau de l’adaptateur.

Du moins avec celui-ci, car pour information, Nimaso en propose un autre vendu seul quasiment au même prix que ces 3, disponible aussi sur amazon (https://www.amazon.fr/Nimaso-Adaptateur-Femelle-Compatible-Appareils/dp/B07QMLTQ53/ref=sr_1_1_mod_primary_lightning_deal?__mk_fr_FR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=nimaso+adaptateur+usb+c&qid=1610974137&s=electronics&sbo=Tc8eqSFhUl4VwMzbE4fw%2Fw%3D%3D&smid=A2P65N706A9FKI&sr=1-1), qui lui intègre un petit circuit (le VL160), qui quel que soit le sens choisi, se charge d’effectuer les inversions nécessaires afin d’assurer une connexion optimale.

Il va sans dire que lorsque j’ai commandé ce lot de 3 adaptateurs, j’ignorais cette subtilité du sens qui n’est d’ailleurs pas beaucoup détaillée dans la fiche produit (d’où l’étoile en moins) mais bon, après une bonne séance de repérage, je les ai finalement gardés car hormis cette contrainte, ils sont vraiment de très bonne qualité et je n’avais pas envie non plus de les échanger contre un seul.

A ce stade, vous savez qu’il existe un autre adaptateur plus pratique si vous ne voulez pas vous ennuyer à repérer le bon sens avec ceux-ci. Cependant, si vous préférez ce lot de 3, voici quelques informations qui vous permettront d’effectuer votre repérage.

Tout d’abord, la question du sens ne se pose qu’au niveau de l’adaptateur. Si le périphérique est doté d’une fiche USB C, peu importe le sens à son niveau. C’est déjà ça de gagné. Par contre, il ne faudra pas prendre pour repère le logo sérigraphié sur les fiches du câble USB C car ce qui sera vrai avec l’une des 2 fiches du câble, ne le sera plus de l’autre côté. Et donc si vous inversez les fiches de votre câble au niveau de l’adaptateur, votre repère ne sera plus valable.

Le plus simple donc est de brancher votre câble sur l’adaptateur, puis d’effectuer un test (ça charge ou pas, ça transfère en USB 2 ou 3) et une fois le bon sens repéré vous collerez une petite pastille à la fois sur l’adaptateur Nimaso et sur la fiche de votre câble USB C en guise de repère.

Pour la vitesse de transfert, il suffit d’effectuer un test avec un disque dur ou un SSD externe avec l’utilitaire CrystalDiskMark par exemple. Je joins quelques photos d’un test avec cet utilitaire dans un sens, puis dans l’autre, avec l’adaptateur et la fiche du câble une fois les repères collés.

Ich habe mir den Adapter für meine Logitech StreamCam gekauft, da diese mit USB-C Anschluss versehen ist.
Nach Anschluss flackerte das Bild und ich wollte den Kram schon zurückschicken.
Ich habe dann doch etwas herumprobiert und siehe da, der Adapter funktioniert nur EINSEITIG mit USB3!
eigentlich sollte es bei USB-C egal sein wie der Stecker in der Buchse landet.
Hier nicht. Eine schnelle Verbindung gibt es nur auf einer Seite!?
Die Kamera macht 60 FPS nur auf einer Seite.
Außerdem flackerte das Bild und ich musste die Kamera mehrmals ein- und ausstecken bevor das Flackern aufhörte.

Das kopieren einer 1GB großen Datei auf einen Sandisk USB 3.0 Stick ging auf der einen Seite mit 18 MByte und auf der anderen Seite mit 54 MByte je Sekunde.
Was soll das?
Für die Kamera geht das zur Not. Für Speicher, Datentransfer und laden von Geräten ist dieses Teil nicht brauchbar.
Keine Ahnung ob ich den Kram zurückschicke.
Es ist wie so oft Ressourcenverschwendung.
Wer einen funktionierenden Adapter kennt darf sich gern melden. :-)

Ich vergaß, Amazon hat ja die Kommentarfunktion entfernt. :-(

Und nein, die wurde nicht selten genutzt.
