5.0 out of 5 stars This is fabulous! Heavy and bulky, but still portable and super easy to assemble.
By dsjsws on December 23, 2020
Most hammock stands are big, heavy, and bulky. They are not portable and barely moveable once assembled.

One that folds up in a travel bag is amazing and just what I needed. Now, when I travel in the RV, I do not have to worry about finding a spot with trees just the right distance apart. And, when not in use I can just take it apart and stow it away. I put it behind the seats when storing it.

Assembles quickly and easily. You can do it with one person in just a few minutes.

It says it weighs 22.32 pounds. Perhaps it is because it is so bulky, but it feels more like 40 pounds. It is heavy enough that when I picked it up by the handle on the carrying bag, the handle ripped.

At first, I was not impressed. I attached the hammock, and it dragged the ground when I threw a pillow inside. So, I wrote to the seller for assistance. They responded almost immediately with a detailed drawing on how to attach the hammock. I was doing it all wrong. You cannot see the correct way by the instructions.

The picture they sent me illustrated my error. (see photo attached to review)

The 2 hooks used to attach the hammock to the frame need to be assembled where the hooks are facing down on the outside of the hammock frame. Then, the hammock loops over the forked frame and attaches to the hooks. Super easy if you know that. It was not intuitive or clear on the original instructions.

You can move the hooks lower on the frame if you still need to raise the hammock higher. That adjustment will take less than 5 minutes to accomplish. Once you get it perfect, you will know to do it that way every time.

I like to set it up on the back porch and enjoy the afternoon with a good book. It was late December and a very rare 73-degree F. day when the hammock arrived. I felt it my duty to give it a test run. It was a splendid way to spend the afternoon.

The set contains a well-made hammock. Since I had trouble initially, I pulled out my favorite double camping hammock that contains mosquito netting. I wanted to see if another hammock would work. Neither worked when assembled incorrectly. Both work beautifully now that I know the correct assembly process. The set contains everything you need to assemble the frame and hammock with some spare parts thrown in for good measure.

The frame is heavier and bulkier than I would like it to be when carrying it around. I am glad that it is a safe, substantial frame when I am using it. It is a heavy-duty, quality frame.

Great set! I am thrilled to have found it! I have no reservation in recommending it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to assemble stand. Hammock is very cheap.
By Heather C. Redding on January 8, 2021
Impossible to assemble. It took multiple days of effort, brute strength, a rubber mallet, and baby oil to get one side of the structure to connect appropriately. (All photos of scratches and dents were of the poles straight out of package.) There is no way we’ll ever use the travel bag that was included as this thing will never come apart. It arrived inside a perfectly nice box, but the interior seemed like a return and was demolished. All the poles have scratches and dents. The instructions were ripped. The poles protective coverings were half off. The hammock itself is insanely thin and seams were looking stretched before use. My husband (6’1” / 215 lbs,) was brave enough to try it out once we got the stand together. He said it’s comfortable but he does feel like it could give way at anytime. It’s not an attractive hammock either. Looks very cheap. Since we are stuck with a stand that is basically welded together we are going to get a nicer hammock and still use it. Would definitely not recommend, this seems to have happened to others as well. If the stand poles are warped at all then it will be a battle to get it constructed and honestly not worth the hassle. We fought to construct it only to complete an honest thorough review. Normally I would’ve given up and sent it back or tossed it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy assembly and so relaxing to lay on!
By Brian "SpookYouLaterz" Lubecki on December 23, 2020
My entire family loves this hammock. The installation is so easy and instructions are easy to follow. It took me about 10 minutes to set it up.

The description says that the stand can hold up to 500 lbs. It feels very sturdy, however the hammock itself is made of a thinner nylon parachute material. It’s extremely comfortable and relaxing to lay on and my family fights over who is going to use it. It even has a cup holder on the side.

It also comes with extra rope and parts in the case that you need it. A storage bag is included as well if you wish to take it somewhere with you. It would be great for camping!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to assemble and comfortable
By 🌟 FilipinaShopaholic 🌟 on December 20, 2020
The steel stand itself says that it can hold up to 500 pounds. The hammock material itself is very thin and a cup holder is attached. I weigh 145 pounds and my son weighs 93 pounds. I tried it out first then he did. It feels like you’re in a cocoon.
I don’t know how long the hammock itself will last but if anything changes, I’ll update this review. You can also store the hammock inside the drink container pouch by stuffing the material all in there and use the drawstring to close it up. It also contains a carrying case for the metal stand for you to store.
