- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2025So far, I'm not experiencing any of the problems that some reviewers have noted. For me this X9 Performance Wired Keyboard is working very well. The keys are just right regarding how much effort to push them and they are not sticking at all. I've used a lot of keyboards over many years and I really like this keyboard. If you are used to old fashioned type keyboards, then you might like this one.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2023CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS! I am leaving a 5 star rating, because really I got what I paid for. It's a plug and play product and does just that. It's a full sized keyboard.
I was disappointed that the function keys for audio controls cannot be used without pressing the Fn key. That's just the way it is. It is not something wrong with the product. It's just a feature I would have liked. BUT... I also had sticky, non-responsive keys. It was clunky. Again, I just considered that they way it was for what I paid for. I wasn't going to return, complain or leave a review.
Then I got the fishing email for a review and because it was just between the seller and I, I told them my concerns: the Fn key function and the sticky keys. They explained about the Fn key. Truthfully I wasn't even aware that I used that often, but I do. My 2nd concern was a sticky backspace key that I had to fiddle with to find the sweet spot to make it connect. Really many of the keys were clunky and loud, but that was the way it was.
They forwarded my concerns.. and WITHOUT ASKING for it, sent a replacement... WHICH WORKS GREAT.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2024I ran this keyboard through the ringer with thousands of hours of fairly quiet use. I didn't have any comfort issues. I did leave several nail imprints in some of the more oft used keys. I've got replacement stickers on five (5) of the keys and the M is almost ready for a sticker. If it didn't start sticking I would have continued to use it.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2024This keyboard does everything it needs to, it’s basic, full-sized, and has no problems typing since I got it. The problem is it is NOT quiet. I need a quiet keyboard for my office so I don’t bother other coworkers - this is louder than my old hand-me-down HP keyboard. I had to return it but the only reason is because it’s too loud.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2022WOW, what an awesome keyboard! I had a pretty good one for my HP desktop but over the years it got worn down, and my space bar was ready to fall off and the "E" key was simply flat and had no spring to it and would sometimes work and sometimes not. I find most current keyboards, especially the Apple keyboard with those tiny and totally flat keys that is more fitting with someone's hands the size of a little kid to use instead of a grown 250 lb. man with massive hands and fingers to be absolutely ridiculous beyond belief.
I also absolutely loathe wireless keyboards and the delayed reaction. So I searched a lot for a new keyboard that I thought would be good for me. I saw this X9 Performance for $30 and took a chance. And my God, I am so happy with my purchase! This WIRED keyboard works perfectly with my HP desktop and the keys are nice and big for my huge fingers and are raised and have an awesome spring back to them. I am VERY happy with this keyboard, and the price is something you can't beat. Makes those newer, small keyed and flat keyed keyboards seem like the junk that they are. Why on earth anyone would like those keyboards is beyond words.
One thing about the X9, if you buy one and can't figure out how to turn the volume up or down or mute it, I will tell you how. There is a key two spots to the right of the space bar with blue letters "Fn". Hold it down and use F2, F3 and F4 to control the volume. Overall, a great keyboard that I rate a 10/10. I might buy 2-3 more for usage on future desktops, since it seems like most new computers come with those ridiculous small keyboards that someone with minuscule baby hands would still have a hard time using.
EDIT: I still really like this keyboard, but I do have one complaint.
I have now bought a few of these keyboards. Each time I have to buy a new one, it's due to the same reason. The space bars on these keyboards, simply do not last long. It seems like every other sentence I type, has space problems. You truly have to click the space bar on the left-hand side, or else it rarely works. It's not uncommon, at all, to finish typing several paragraphs, and have spell check tell you, you have to correct many mistakes, all of which are words with no spaces in them. It gets super annoying. Other than that, it's still a great product.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2024This is a good basic keyboard. It feels a little "tight" and requires a little extra push when typing. Not a big deal but if that will bother you, stay away.
UPDATE: Don't buy this keyboard if you can afford better. Have to push BACKSPACE three times for a response and the key pushing is randomly difficult and uneven.

Not the greatest key action if you're doing a lot of typing. It works fine but has been relegated to emergency backup duty for remote work.
