I use this extender to be able to charge my Steam Deck from my bed with the OEM charger while using it . This extends the overall length to around 12 ft from the measley 5.5 feet . This cable is rated for 100W while my Steam Deck charger its only rated for 65W so this gives me the piece of mind that it wont fail or overheat.

I have tried this extender with my Surface Pro laptop charger and a number of power hungry electronics and it has works flawlessly. If by any chance this cable its not working for you on your first try make sure to invert the plug and try again as some usb-c's have a chip that needs to be facing a certain way. but as far as my testing I haven't encountered this issue.

Cable length is perfect for our needs and the product itself feels very premium, maybe even over built. What I mean by this is that the cable itself (or what it is wrapped with) is not very flexible. Once the wire takes a shape you really have to manipulate it to get it to change, which I suppose is great if you need this to reroute behind furniture or something like that.

But for our use which was to extend our phone chargers this is not the ideal style of extender. I suppose that is my fault for not checking a bit more clearly, but I didn’t see anything mentioning the actual structure of the covering.

Still a great product - Just 4 stars for the shell material used on the exterior of the cable.

I needed a longer cable to extend from my laptop to my type C external hard drive. When the external hard drive is connected directly to the laptop through the tape support, I hit about 300 MBps transfer speed. I’ve tried multiple times and when I have my external hard drive connected through this cable, I have not been able to get over 39 MBps transfer speed.

If charging is all you're after, than this is a good cable.

I ordered a 2 pack of these and they work great. They feel much higher quality than I expected, I don't see these failing. My biggest concern was through put though, that data and power wouldn't be throttled or slow down due to the extension cables but they don't slow things down at all.

My Samsung S20 Ultra still charges at "Super Fast Charging" speed with no increase to charge time, & data transfer between my phone and PC are still at full speed as well with no slowdown compared to when not using the extensions. Considering they're 6.6ft long extensions, that's great. These cables definitely perform at their advertised specs!

I bought two of these to extend the cable length between my MacBook Pro laptop (with 4 Thunderbolt Ports) and the rest of my desktop peripherals. Like a lot of folks, I've needed some adapter options to plug things that aren't USB-C / Thunderbird based into my laptop, and in my case, a small Anker hub (Anker 341 USB-C Hub) covered all my basic needs for $25 or so. I've been running two monitors, with the Anker hub providing HDMI to one of them, Power delivery to the laptop, and USB-A connections to an external hard drive and to send audio to a DAC attached to my stereo, and with a direct USB-C connection to the other monitor (not using the hub for this - I *think* this is due to limitations in the MacOS, but whatever the case, it doesn't work).
However, the laptop needs to move around some. It's mounted on an articulating arm which allows me to re-position it for Zoom calls or for times I wanted different angle on the screen, etc, and every time I moved it, I would drag the hub and everything attached to it, putting strain on the cord and the Thunderbolt port, and sometimes dragging my hard drive off the shelf it sits on. Not ideal, and for a while, I though the only way I could address it was to buy a much costlier and more fully equipped Thunderbolt hub, like the CalDigit T3. I was so close to making that purchase, when I started to wonder if there were ways to just extend the cord and found this product, and I'm happy to report IT WORKED! I've now got the Anker hub stuck to the desk with double-sided silicone tape, and it does not move at all, and these extension cords let me move the laptop freely. The second cord (running direct from the port to a USB-C port on a monitor) is probably not necessary - even though that cord was a little short, I could have just bought a longer one for less money. But, since I already had the cable routed how I wanted it, and was checking out these extensions, buying two made sense and worked great.
As noted in reviews and in the packaging, if you have issues, just flip the connecting side over. For some reason, some connections only work with the right side up. But overall, I got the functionality I wanted from a $300 Thunderbolt hub out of a $20 cable and I'm happy.

I know people have had mixed results using these with Thunderbolt docks, and I'm plugging it in to the Thunderbolt port of my M1 MacBook Air, BUT I'm not expecting it to support Thunderbolt. I'm using it to connect a USB Dock which which is located just under 1m away - it has a decent 10cm USB-C cable of its own. And it works just fine ... Also the dock has power-delivery, so I've got the MacBook Air's power supply plugged into the Dock, and it delivers power just fine back to the MacBook Air. So, as I said I'm not trying to support any Thunderbolt devices, but supporting a USB-C dock it works fine, and pleasingly, it also supports power-delivery back to the MacBook Air as well.
