Overall I’ll give it 5 stars. It’s not “super easy” to put the poles together as they fit very tight together (which is a good thing). Easy to put the cutter and rake together. Larger wheels on the cutter are a great bonus since it won’t allow the metal bar on the cutter to scrape metal or asphalt roofs. The chute works great as long as it’s not windy. With all the extensions it can get hard to handle if you’re on a deck or don’t have easy access to the roof but it works great to reach the peak of my roof. Much easier to use the cutter and get 1 entire column of snow than use the rake and get a column in like 8 tries.

Great Rake for your Ice Damps!

I have used the rake several times now, and I did not have any issue removing the snow from the ceiling. One of my neighbors used it as well, and it went so well that now he is ready to order one as well. It is sturdy and easy to use, but like with everything you should handle it with care.
My advice is that you use it right after the snow falls, so it would be easier to deal with it. Do not wait until it freezes and hardens itself.
I recommend this rake to anyone concerned with ice damps. It is very effective in removing the snow from your roof, and preventing the ice damps.

The rake was a little difficult to assemble just because of the angles, but it’s doable. We got this last night and I tried the slide today - LOVE IT!! It took down the old snow from the garage roof pretty easily and it was kinda fun! (This is coming from someone who hates snow.) I would definitely recommend.
Side note: I contacted their support with an assembly question and received a call back within 2 hours; I had figured it out by then, but I was impressed with the response!

There are two cutting blades that can be used. One cutting blade is great for removing deep snow from the roof more rapidly. The other cutting blade is great for removing any remaining snow from the roof. One of the wheels on the "deep" attachment fell off, but the supplier sent me a replacement of the entire assembly the wheel was attached to.
