Upon immersing herself in it, she discovers unexpected family secrets, the capacity of the human spirit to fly high thanks to the alchemy that converts natural ingredients into food, and a sense of belonging that she has never felt before. The voice of María, from the same warrior lineage as the De Garza women, continues the family saga.

The protagonist must negotiate a bumpy road while gaining confidence in herself.
