So was hesitant at first to buy it since it seems like a good majority of the good reviews had received it for free, so I thought I'd give it a try. I had just moved my setup around and needed more length than the maximum allowed than a standard USB 3.0 extension cable as my webcam was freezing, not turning on, etc due to me daisy-chaining a 15 ft and a 6 ft cable together. So I bought this and it's currently hooked up to a hub as well as I do have the INCLUDED power adapter plugged in to prevent any sort of signal or power degradation. It's currently supporting the Logitech Brio at full 4k 30fps capability of the camera, my mouse, my audio interface, and two of my monitors. No issues with anything randomly disconnecting, no issues with webcam quality or consistency, all my audio comes in loud and clear. Needless to say for a nice, easy, and affordable solution like this am very pleased.

33' USB 3.0 Cable actually works

Used with a Logitech PTZ 2.0 camera that would not work beyond its integrated 10' USB cable. Camera would flicker and the PTZ function was hit and miss. Changed to this 33' USB cable and solved the problem. Also tested with some external USB drives and they worked fine also.

Item is two of manufacturers 16ft cables combined, two booster boxes. Bad design: only the head-end gets DC. DC adapter cable is NOT 32' only 5' Given the thickness of the USB cable, the DC connector should plugged be at the host (PC) end, and power should be running within the USB cable. This is an extender for distance (e.g. TV/PC to couch) not movement (stand-up VR), and DC cable if separate should be at least 16ft and plug in middle box. Seller should not advertise this for headset use.

The cable has a nice build quality to it and seems like it's built to last. It works for mouse and keyboard, and flash drives 16gb or less, and powered external drives with no issue. For it to work with larger flash drives or external non-powered drives you will need to use the power adapter. (It was included in my packaging even though the description states it is not included.) But for the power adapter to boost the signal the cable needs to be unplugged from the PC, or source device for a few seconds then reconnected. Depending on how you plan to use this you may need to leave the power plugged in, or if you want to plug in as needed you will need to have easy accessibility to the source connection. It took a bit to figure it out. If you have the USB plugged in without power and then need to power the extension, make sure to unplug the USB from the source for a bit, then reconnect.

Yes, 32 feet and an LED activity light are great, but the difference maker is the "active" designation.

If you want a really long run like 32 feet, you need to ensure there is no signal loss. Yes, you might not think you need it, but without signal telemetry on the cable, how can you be sure?

This Unitek model gives you the option of an external PSU, using a DC jack (3.5*1.35mm) connected to a 5V 2A power adapter.

Unfortunately, they don't bundle this feature as an option. So no five stars for this SKU. Sadly, it's too hard to find the specifications (center positive/negative, voltage, connective size)

Also this solution won't help with USB-C connections; this is for USB Type A Male to Type A Female connections.

Works as expected. Presently using to remote USB 3.0. multi media server for my media room and have experienced no buffering or frames dropped. It works like it is directly connected to my projector (it shows to be connected to a USB 3 device). Cable is well made and it even comes with its own power supply.

At first I was sceptical about the relatively low price of the cable and the off looking company website, but I gave it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, after trying 3 different cables, this is the first one that actually works with my vr headset (I have a Samsung odyssey plus). All other cables would either cut out after a minute or just not work at all. Secondly the build quality is astounding. Full aluminium ends, premium looking and feeling and ontop of that it includes a power adapter if your devices needs a little more juice (mine works fine with it without it). Another thing is that I've noticed this cable seems thicker than all the other ones I tried (one of them being from the popular brand ugreen). Overall I would highly recommend this cable if your looking toe xtend your VR set up, without spending too much.

I have been trying to set up my Quest 2 and laptop for the best possible quality for Pc
VR gaming. Truth is, VR is very difficult to set-up right unless you spend a lot of money. I sadly have a RTX 3050 equipped laptop. From what I read, probably one of the worst cards for VR but I still managed to get my setup good enough and THIS powered USB cable made that possible. The transfer quality is awesome and fast, and with the power supply you will never see the end of the battery. And what's even better is that even if the laptop is off and you keep the power supply plugged in you can keep charging the headset. But I would recommend unplugging the power cord once fully charged. If I could I would give this 10 stars I would!!!

I tried 2 others from Amazon, my computer could see the device but not play music. This one comes with a DC pS in case you have a higher voltage requirement. Which was not needed in my case. I recommend.
