Of all the things I have bought during the pandemic, this is my favorite thing. Many other reviewers of mouse jigglers say they need them because they don't want the computer to go to sleep while they read lengthy work related documents, while they are hand writing something work related, etc. I won't lie and say that. This keeps my computer on (and me showing as "working" on Teams) while I load the dishwasher, water the plants on my patio, take a nap, or run some errands. It doesn't vibrate or make your mouse continually move. Every 30 - 60 seconds the wheel turns a little bit, causing your mouse pointer to move on the screen in a very natural way. It is brilliant. I use this 10 - 20 hours per week, and so far it has held up beautifully.

After reading the reviews I bought this product and also a different model. The video I attached really says it all. I have several wireless Logitech mouses that I use daily. I bought them at Walmart, so there must be millions of these in use. They work very well and are extremely light weight.

The product arrived on time and is well packaged. Easy to set up. Has an on/off switch. It has a power cord but unfortunately it does not have the power supply/plug. At this price point it should include its own power supply.

The concept is simple. Place your mouse in the tray and the spinning wheel moves your mouse cursor around so your screen does not time out.

To be fair, the product does move the mouse cursor and does keep the computer ‘awake’. But just barely. If you are just trying to keep your personal computer from timing out then this will be perfect for you. But, if you are like most of us who are trying to get around the stringent controls of your employers IT department, then this device will likely get you in trouble.

Here is where it fails miserably. First, the interval between movement of the disc is not random. It happens precisely every 18-20 seconds. And when it does move, it moves the exact same tiny amount. So any legitimate IT department is quickly going to flag this as a mouse mover device. As you can see in the video, the cursor only moves 1-2 inches on the screen. And then the next movement is 1-2 inches back across the same path. So it never leaves the same 2x2 inch square on your screen. Again, any IT department will quickly flag this fake movement.

Also, the motor is not strong enough and the spinning disc is not large enough to actually move the mouse inside the tray. This is why the cursor movement goes back and forth across the same small path instead of seeming random. And as I mentioned, my wireless mouse is about as light as it can be.

This device not only needs to have a random cycle time, but it needs to be more often. Most workers don't take constant 20 second breaks between a two second movement of the mouse. That is an eternity to wait.

In contrast, the other device I purchased from Amazon works well. You can see in the second half of the video I posted that it has a strong motor and a large disc that actually moves the mouse around. This causes the cursor to move long distances and in many different directions.

I have worked in IT for two large companies for 20 years now. My guess is that this device will be quickly flagged as it is not going to fool anyone. I will be keeping the second device but returning this particular Mouse Mover product.

Incredible! Works like magic! I just wish I had bought this sooner. I just love the design, it looks less like an electronic product and more like a decorative item. My computer locks even if I step away for a quick bathroom break. Well no more!

Update: after using it for a few weeks now, it has been awesome product - I use it everyday and it saves me from being logged out of my laptop every single time I step away to answer the doorbell or get some coffee. i have plugged into the wall phone charger so it has no connection to my laptop. I like this better as it is a mouse mover and not a jiggler because a jiggler can be picked up by an IT scan. The wide sweeping movement of the cursor imitate a user moving the mouse manually. This is definitely a MUST work from home gadget - plan to give this as Christmas gift to family and friends!

I work in a corporate setting where I do not have access to my PC to change idle settings. The default time set up on my PC, is too short .

My work also involves reviewing a lot of PowerPoint presentations, and attending conference calls. There have been so many times that in the middle of my meeting, my computer will time out, and lock me out. Then I have to spend another five minutes logging in and reconnecting to all the databases, including VPN. The last thing I need right now while dealing with work from home issues is stressing about something as silly as this.

One of my colleagues bought this device a few days ago and recommend to me.And let me tell you this, this has been a lifesaver. Wow! I never knew something like this existed! I mean why didn’t I buy this sooner!!

There are so many things I like about this device. Firstly, the design is absolutely beautiful. I like my desk space to be clean, clutter free. This device is very sleek, and modern looking, and fits right into my workspace.

Secondly the little rim around the edges of the device ensures that the mouse does not drop off from the device during movement. That is a big deal, because I’ve seen some other mouse movers that did not have that feature.

Third, I wanted to make sure that the device does not install any kind of unwanted software into the PC. I do not have admin permissions on my PC, so that would not have worked.

Fourth, I like supporting American made products, and this was the only product that I could find that was not only designed in America. Sure it is a little bit more expensive compared to some other competitors made overseas, but I like the fact that I can reach out to a local customer service if I have any issues. And a five year warranty is absolutely amazing. I mean what other company do you know of nowadays, gives a 5 year warranty on their products?!!

I think this would be an absolute fantastic Christmas gift for some of my colleagues! Beautiful and functional!

But It is completely detectable from my company's software Sapiens and didn't increase my work time even for 1 min. Price is too high but wasted for this jiggler if your company's software is like sapiens.
