Patrick is the town’s blacksmith, the son of a slave. He’s a widower and father of twin 9 yr. old boys who he would do anything to keep them safe. He’s a hard worker and liked by the town. He doesn’t talk about his family who are no good crooks wanted by the law. If the town found out who his family was, he was sure they would think he was one of them. When his wife Tamara died, her good friend Rebecca took to watching the boys so Patrick could work. They were attracted to each other. One day someone from Patrick’s past came to see him. He was hiding from the law and wanted Patrick to hide him. Patrick told him no and sent him away. He came back again and threatened to hurt the boys and Rebecca if Patrick didn’t hide him. What was Patrick going to do? Rebecca happened to overhear parts of the conversation and was going to do whatever needed to help Patrick. There were many twists and turns to this story. What would Patrick end up doing? Would he hide this man or help the sherif capture him as he should do. What would happen to make Patrick admit he loved Rebecca? This is a story well worth reading. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Patrick is a widower with twin sons 9 years old. He is the town blacksmith and a hard worker. Rebecca was a good friend of Patrick's wife Tamara and has been helping Patrick with his boys after his wife died. When Patrick's step -brother who is running from the law shows up and wants to hide out at Patirick's things get interesting. Will Patrick help his step-brother escape the law or will he help the law apprehend his step-brother? Will Patruck want Rebecca to be more than a friend that helps out with his sons or will he recognize his love for her? this is another great book in ths series and ties up a lot of loose ends.

I've been enjoying reading this story of the characters in, Mail Order Bride - Rebecca. The man was a black Smith and a widow, he didn't want any problems on his life. The author didn't seem to understand that.

A sweet and poignant story! Patrick is a widower with twin boys. He is the area blacksmith and is related to the dastardly Reese/Ashby families, who have wrecked havoc throughout the area. Miles Ashby suddenly shows up at Patrick's blacksmith shop and threatens his boys and Rebecca if Patrick doesn't help hide him. It takes this to make Patrick and Rebecca how much they have come to feel for each other! The characters are great and so is the story plot! It has some very intense moments and is filled with action! You will not want to put this delightful story down until you finish it!!

Indiana Wake is a very talented author, her books just flow so well its a joy to read and review her books.

This book has a lot of detail, the scenery descriptions are razor sharp, bringing the characters to life, with their own personalities, issues, and dreams.

How was it possible out heroine and hero would be able to come together.
Indiana always finds a way to bring her books around to a happy ending.

A sweet love story mixed with much suspense. Excellent addition to the already fun and exciting series! Indiana and Belle are doing a wonderful job of spinning great tales. I am so enjoying their stories. Don't you want to get in on it?
