    Good enough for bridge
My Asus router was beginning to show it's age with it's wifi dropping on a frequent basis. After reading the reviews I purchased this triband mesh wifi and ran it in bridge mode. This addressed the lack of security others noted and allowed not only better wifi coverage but also provided Ethernet ports to plug consoles and my smart tv into. Other options may be better but this works great as a modest upgrade. (Note: mine seems to only have 5ghz wifi and I am running 2.4 off the old router for older devices)

    What I liked:
    Tri-band = 2x5Ghz and 1x2.4. The 2nd 5Ghz is for interconnections.
    Easy to configure and connect.
    App is easy to use
    Fair price
Good WiFi speeds as long as you are on 500mbps or below
Dual band 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz broadcasting using the same SSID
You can customize the connected device names for more human friendly information
    Reboot schedule customizable

    What I didn't like:
Box says they are RSD0613 but devices say they are RSD0610
Lack of customization options. (no static routing, no encryption options)
    No firewall options
No dhcp customization (no custom lease time, no subnet mask, no dns, no first available IP, etc, only option is selecting the main IP)
Recovery after a network hit or power loss is painfully slow, 1-2min or so.
From time to time it just says the connection between the boxes is fair and then recovers on its own without moving it.
Cannot be configured without the app, there's no access via a PC.
You cannot remove devices from the dhcp list (in example, a device you no longer have will stay in the list forever)
No manual remote reboot option. You have to go and unplug from power.
    No custom QoS.

    Summary:
    T̶h̶e̶s̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶v̶i̶c̶e̶s̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶g̶r̶e̶a̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶p̶e̶o̶p̶l̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶g̶o̶o̶d̶ ̶W̶i̶-̶F̶I̶ ̶c̶o̶v̶e̶r̶a̶g̶e̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶h̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶n̶e̶e̶d̶ ̶e̶x̶t̶e̶n̶d̶e̶d̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶f̶i̶g̶u̶r̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶s̶i̶m̶p̶l̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶s̶.̶

    Edit:
After more weeks of heavy work I have found that the Network backhaul is unreliable. There's a random delay that goes from 3ms to 50ms towards the default gateway (keep in mind I am connected to the primary unit which is wired to the main router/AP and this is all local at home, therefore it should be less than 1ms all the time). Since there are no options to tweak the system such as changing the Wi-Fi channel this makes the system very unstable and very hard to maintain clear voice calls over internet or presentations.
The connection drops from time to time causing headaches to repeat yourself or asking to repeat since you lost all that audio for few seconds at a time.
Also since there is no customizable security options several devices cannot connect to it since it looks like it only supports TKIP vs AES. From time to time my cellphone claims the Wi-Fi has weak security as well.

I have tried using the bridged as well to let my main router handle the DHCP reservations and routing to no avail. The problem seems to be with the actual units and there is no way to update the firmware anywhere.

I think I will be returning the system and try to get a better brand.

    Final Update: (I believe) 8/11/21
I went to what they called VIP support and received answers.
I'll start by saying this is by far, the best Tech support I've ever received from a company regarding standing by their products, providing support, updates, maintaining contact, requesting info, analyzing, providing resolutions on their queries. I am truly impressed.

With that stated, they replaced my items right away, the new products still had a few disconnects, which I provided all needed info for them to look at.

They came back with a new app that resolves the firmware and device detection = 100% solved
After I provided my own test results with all facts gathered they came back with new firmware that was explained will be updated in an after-hours manner (3am) to prevent any issues during the day. (This actually happened exactly at that time, crazy isn't it?).

In the morning I started checking my devices and found some 2.4Ghz Smart devices disconnected due to the upgrade, I just reconnected them and I have had only one quick blip in 6 days, which I can conclude that firmware fixed the issues.

I know the firmware is released globally now, which will make all your devices connect and stay connected properly now. Fixed firmware version: 10567.
The recommendation is that after you upgrade the system to this version, reset them and then configure them again.

Still the amount of available settings is limited, therefore if you look for full and advanced device control these devices will not offer that.

I am increasing the stars to 5 due to:
    Top notch support
Reliable internet connection and device interconnection
Seamless transition between the devices (roaming from one device to the other)

    New Summary:
    Recommended.
Fast and easy connection to the internet if you want to have good Wi-Fi coverage at home and do not need extended Wi-Fi settings.
Very easy to connect, very easy to manage from the APP.

I removed my wifi router, which was connected directly to the internet modem. I already had my internet modem in bridge mode, so I simply plugged in one of the wifi mesh cubes after getting the temporary wifi password from the bottom of the cube. Next, I ran the RS Wifi app and connected to the temporary wifi connection to continue the setup. I was prompted for my PPPOE user id and password, which I entered, and then prompted for the name and password of the wifi I want to set up. I entered in the same Wifi name and password that I had been using on the router that I removed. All existing devices connected to the new wifi as if it was the old one, even my smart garage door opener / monitor connected automatically, even though it is restricted to 2.4 GHz.

I plugged in the other 2 wifi boxes, and plugged my desktop computer into one, eliminating the need for a wifi adapter on that computer. I'm seeing excellent signal strength on all 3 levels of my home (3800 sq ft including the garage).

All in all, it took less than 5 minutes to have everything up and running.

I think RockSpace (RS) is just another provider of cheap Chinese junk. This system worked fine for all my wifi needs until two weeks after the warranty expired. i noticed a decline in the wifi signal on TVs, computer, etc and figured out that the secondary unit that served those devices was not working, although the LED was a solid green indicating that the cube was connected and providing a good wifi signal. I tried several troubleshooting steps, such as deleting the cube and reloading it, moving it next to the modem and primary cube, connecting it with an ethernet cable directly from the modem. Out of ideas, I called tech service. The only troubleshooting they offered was to recycle power to the modem and from modem to the primary cube, neither of which worked. I was surprised they didn't evne advise me to do the things I had tried - it was almost like they expected it to fail. Because it was just a couple of weeks past the warranty expiration, the tech said he would check with his supervisor to see if they could get me another cube and that he would let me know w/in 48 hours. He called the next day to say that he was sorry, but there was nothing they could do to help me. During that time, I tried one more thing - I switched the two secondary cubes with the other's power cable and it appeared that the cable may have been the problem. I relayed this info to the RS tech when he called to tell me that there was nothing that RS could do for me. He recommended that I buy a new power cord online (they wouldn't even give me that even though I offered to buy it). Later that day he sent me a link to such a power supply cord from Amazon, which I ordered. When I got the new cord I attempted to connect the cube again and it worked! ... for about 3 days, then quit again. Since then I have been 'limping along' with two cubes which will not provide sufficient wifi signal to power devices that even those two previously had serviced. I have now ordered a different brand mesh system for a much less price than this junk, figuring if this stuff is only temporary I will save money on the annual purchases. I obviously do NOT recommend Rock Space products, especially this one.

Not sure why but these kept dropping their connection even after making sure they were updated to the latest level. Coverage was not as great either even with 3 units. I ended up returning them and switched to TP-Link Deco AX3600 (2 units and very stable, great coverage and throughput).

Update - I did have multiple conversations with their tech support. They are very responsive and helpful. Turns out that these units are not the best for my living area with multiple walls and the distance I was trying to cover. Given that, if you have a mostly open area, they should work fine.
