Long lasting!
Just used these for our 3 night camping trip in at Lake Kissimmee State Park in Florida. We had another light as well of a different brand that hung in the tent. The Energizer ones lasted all 3 nights without having to change the batteries. They remained bright and consistent the entire time! It even rained our last night and they still did great! The one we hung in the tent? Not so much. Put new batteries in when we arrived and had to change them on the last night there. These are worth the price, most definitely. Going camping again in March and might buy a couple more since we found we could have used more light. Included the best pic of using it I could find, not a great pic but hopefully helpful.

I bought it because it was on sale. Didn't really pay attention, I thought it was rechargeable because of the USB port. Super disappointed when I got it and it needs D batteries... Or aa but still.

Tried it anyway, this thing is a beast. Super bright, I've tried both d and aa and I've been surprised at how long the batteries last.

My only complaint is it's awkward to hang. And I've never had success using the USB port to charge anything.

I love this lantern and plan to purchase more. We constantly have storms, this is part of my "tornado kit" and it had definitely come in handy. The light has two settings, both are really bright then it has a 3rd setting of an amber light which works as a nightlight. It's extremely durable....I've dropped it a few times lol it also lasts quite a long time. I think I've used it for several power outages without having to change the batteries. I haven't used the charging option yet but it was a feature I purchased this particular lantern for. Highly recommend especially in areas that are prone to storms, outages or for camping.

I bought one of these lanterns when they were $10 each. Guys who have ridden 270 MPH motorcycles aren't usually that cautious when it comes to simple things (you can google that on your own) So now I know how excellent these lanterns are, the price is now double that. Still worth it. A little context may be helpful.

We live in southern Ecuador, where we are in extreme drought. 75% of our electricity comes from hydroelectric power. We have been in an extreme drought for over 120 days and that has meant programmed power outages twice a day, every day and there is no controlling when those outages will come. This lantern is a savior as it will light up our kitchen, my office and living room, all by itself.

Next time I'll be wiser, especially when all I'm risking is 10 bucks per lantern. Live and learn.

I was looking for something to replace the old tall glass candles I had laying around the house for emergencies during the hectic storms and tornadoes that my state is known for.

I'll try em cause they're cheap and a known brand.
I was pleasantly surprised with my purchase to say the least :D
They take 3 AA or 3 D batteries just in case you dont have one or the other and the light has 3 modes with like mega extra bright,regular bright and dim as choices and it's even got a phone charger port also. The thing is light weight and fits about anywhere.
The battery life is pretty good too though better batteries get better results.
These lanterns are great especially if you live in a place where the power goes out frequently and are tired of stubbing your toes on furniture in the dark
