Interesting book on intermittent fasting. The author provides easy to understand definitions of the different fasting regimes and what side effects are not good drink plenty of water, get enough sleep and try to exercise at least 30 minutes. Also watch the calories. You need to eat enough to not make your metabolism go into starvation mode

Intermittent Fasting is a restrictive food diet on when you eat not what you eat. You do have make sure you're approaching it in a healthy way. There are several variations on how to do this diet. Ultimately have you to pick the one that works best for your body and schedule. There is doctor supported findings that you can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol and reduce heart disease. You'll Rev up your metabolism, lose weight and get healthy. Lots of great information and a few delicious recipes too

Grace Bainer has written a excellent guide to assist women over 50 to learn how to fast safely. My aunt who is 65 was interesting in changing her eating habits and heard about fasting as a way to do it. It's excellent that she includes recipes so she won't have to spend a lot of time guessing what to eat. She will gain a side benefit of losing weight and resetting her metabolism. She also loves that it will detox her body.
