I read some of the negative reviews and became a bit confused because the unit I received has been nothing but insanely amazing for me. Right out of the box, I set it up, got it running with all my favorite software and games, of course. This thing can run pretty much every single game on max graphics without a problem. The only game I’ve ever had trouble with when Truly turning all the settings to max was red dead redemption. However, it’s because certain settings eat the VRAM so much that you’d probably need an SLI config to run it at true max anyway. The awesome specs paired with all the SSD storage with windows OS running on it also contributes heavily to any game loading extremely fast. If anyone knows the game called ARK, you’d know how notorious it is for taking FOREVER to load. Fortunately, this computer can load any map in less than 30 seconds. My old computer, which had a GTX 1050TI, which really isn’t a terrible graphics card, would take well over 5 minutes to load an ARK map. I also paired my Alienware with a new 4k 165mhz monitor recently and it has only upgraded my gaming experience. Sometimes, I’ll even sit and watch a movie on the 34 incher just because of how amazing the monitor looks. The DDR4 RAM allows you to run any of your games, have 50 tabs open in chrome, listen to music, and do pretty much anything else you want all at the same time. For comparison, my computer at work can run probably 15 tabs of chrome and that’s literally it :). Overall, best computer I’ve ever owned.

this computer seems clean and legit at first but has numerous issues from the way its built to the hardware.
it overheats, its slow, and its not properly built. All around just a giant headache I should have avoided by going with this brand. But I always wanted to own one. And the customer support is just as bad and won't help you with any questions you may have. If you're looking for a reliable gaming pc this isnt it, you're better off building one from Build Redux, or MSI. Buying this piece of trash put me out $3700. DO NOT GO WITH ALIENWARE GUYS, ITS A TRAP

I was bewildered when my Alienware desktop arrived without the graphics card installed. WTF?!? That's not the Dell I've been buying from for the last 20 years.

But then a brief while later I realized: these guys are an Alienware chop shop. That's the "Computer Upgrade King" part of it. They've found some sort of arbitrage play on the components and are swapping them out (I assume).

So buyer beware: not a real Alienware desktop. I don't think Dell would an honor a warranty even if I could find it. But, you get upgraded components for a better price than a similar configuration costs from Alienware directly.

Having many issues with this pc. Blue screens of death are common and always different exceptions. Of course, I find the pc was sold thru Amazon by a 3rd party and nothing but a tech warehouse with no support whatsoever. Had to buy a support contract thru Dell just so I could speak to someone.
