- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2024Color: Zy’s Rail EditionConfiguration: WiredVerified PurchaseI've used a breadbasket of small mice: Glorious Model O-, Razer Viper Mini, Cooler Master MM720 and more. Without a doubt this is the best aimer of them all.
Am I a god now? NO, but I would say there was a 4% improvement over the 0- which is no slouch of a mouse.
Build Quality, Button Clicks and Weight and Cord are also all very nice.
I also REALLY like that the mid button is reprogrammable, on that note it does everything very well for being a softwareless mouse. RGB looks nice though not a primary concern for me.
It took a few days to adjust to and at first it was uncomfortable though I've adapted. It certainty is less comfortable than the MM720(I also like the cord on that one more) but everything has a cost.
A Fantastic deal when on sale for those of us who don't care to go wireless
- Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2022Color: Zy’s Rail EditionConfiguration: WiredVerified PurchaseI've been mouse hopping for the whole month. I've tried the Microsoft Intellimouse Pro, Logitech MX Master 3, and Logitech superlight wireless. This thing beats them all. The only one that comes close is the superlight, but this is more comfortable.
Pros:
- Sensor is the flawless PMW 3389.
- Cable is essentially a light shoe-string. Doesn't get in the way or rub on the desk. It is quite long.
- Clicks are the best I've ever felt. It's like if Pringles made a mouse. M1 and M2 feel and sound the same which pleases my OCD.
- Side buttons are better than any Logitech I've tried.
- Shape is strangely comfortable for my fingertip/claw grip. The way the front buttons slope down feels very natural. And I have large hands. It's pencil precision, best way I can describe it. I think it has something to do with being so close to the mousepad.
- Weight is light. There's never a flick where I'm like "Oh, the weight was too heavy so that's why I missed". No, that's never an issue with this mouse.
I think this mouse is best with a hard mouse pad. It's all about sensory, the more your nerves can feel the surface you play on the more precision.
- Balance is great.
Cons:
- Scroll wheel is average. The steps are a little bit mushy.
- The LEDs are stupid. All they do is add weight and do nothing for performance. I keep them off.
I mean that's about it.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2021Quite pleased with the MZ1. I bought it out of boredom and had only intended to use it for games, but it's managed to become my daily driver despite some issues. The media could not be loaded.
This is a very bold design, something you would never see from the big names (logitech, razer, etc). The MZ1's shape is not meant to please everyone- palm grippers in particular may find it difficult to adjust. Footprint of this mouse is quite small. Switches sound and feel great. Cable is light and flexible. RGB looks great. I'm actually not a fan of RGB, and fully intended to turn it off, but I found the default pattern to be quite appealing. There are a number of different lighting patterns that you can choose from.
There is no software. You can update the firmware (you can find latest FW on the xtrfy website). I did contact Xtrfy and unfortunately they refuse to open-source the firmware, so this device is completely non-programmable. This can only be considered a negative given the price point, but I've adjusted to it.
If this mouse has one major weakness, it's the scroll wheel. I do not like it at all. It is placed too low within the mouse body, making it difficult/impossible to do long drags. Furthermore the grip/texture of the wheel is too smooth, and to make matters worse, the edges are rounded off. There is hardly any tactile feedback as you scroll. The middle button is too firm and awkward to press.
Overall I'd certainly recommend this mouse to any fingertip/claw gamer, or even curious palm-grippers. I've personally enjoyed using the MZ1 and have seen improvements to my aim. Xtrfy needs to improve the scroll wheel in the next generation, and any level of programmability would be nice to have..
- Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2024Color: Zy’s Rail EditionConfiguration: WiredVerified PurchaseI have a fingertip grip when I grip the mouse. It results in more precise mouse movement but my hand can be fatigued. Needless to say this grip is very mouse dependent. Some popular mice mess up my hand & my grip. While they are excellent options for palm or claw grips, my hand rejects their large unwieldy shapes. This means I have particular models that I'm fond of & have to steer clear or settle when it comes to other popular choices.
This mouse was perfect out the box! I didn't have any adjustment issues with it. It's light to prevent strain & flat & small enough to move around with just my fingertips. I can even move it down without much contact to my palm. Logitech G9 is the only other mouse that came close before but that mouse is discontinued.
If you are a fingertip gripper, looking for a mouse that fits your needs, you owe it to yourself to try this one. I can't guarantee that this one will work for you but it was a natural fit to my hand. My hand didn't even need an adjustment period! Give it a shot. I hope it'll surprise you.

MarkReviewed in Canada on October 21, 20225.0 out of 5 stars Best fingertip mouse if your hands suit it
Color: Zy’s Rail EditionConfiguration: WiredVerified PurchaseThe MZ1 is a very unique small shape mouse. I have 16.9x3.9 cm hands, so pretty small size hands. I came from the Razer viper mini, another great lightweight small mouse.
The shape takes a bit to get used to, since it's so unique and unorthodox unlike other shapes in the market.
After a couple of days of getting used to the shape and tuning my sens in OW2 and Valorant, I've never aimed better, large swipes, flicks, and microadjustments is a breeze. My Widow in OW2 has never been better, I make more consistent, better shots compared to the RVPM. Tracking with the MZ1 is also very nice.
Build quality is superb, my copy doesnt have any rattling or creaking whatsoever throughout the entire mouse, very solidly built.
Overall, if your hands suits the mouse for fingertip, no brainer, an excellent mouse to have, give it a few days to get adjusted to the shape.
Pros:
Build quality
No software needed! Built in settings control like polling rate, DPI, RGB and the likes.
Cons:
Cable could be better, but with a mouse bungee, plays just fine

MortifikatorReviewed in Germany on December 2, 20245.0 out of 5 stars Unerwartet gut und haptisch beeindruckend

AlecReviewed in Italy on June 5, 20225.0 out of 5 stars Eccellente mouse gaming x aim
Voto 10/10
ZacharyReviewed in the United Kingdom on January 8, 20225.0 out of 5 stars i knew from day one that i really liked the shape
Color: Zy’s Rail EditionConfiguration: WiredVerified Purchasefirst the positives
- very light - around 60 grams
- amazing snapy clicks - kailh gm 8.0
- great light cable
- thick round smooth skates
- side buttons are in a good location for me
shape - the shape really fits me with my relaxed claw, main clicks have comfort grooves which feel amazing, i like how the right side is flat, all in all, i find it super comfortable. i have 18x10 hands, fits like a glove
now onto the negatives
- scroll wheel is hard to press and impossible to spam as it jams, optimum tech mentioned this in his review, don't get me wrong, you can use it just fine in daily use
- build quality - when you squeeze the mouse very hard, it creaks, its not something that will happen in normal use, again excessive force, no creaking in normal use, i dont think it would shorten the 2 year+ life span because of this
personal gripes
- id prefer to have no rgb to lower the weight, but the rgb implementation is fairly cool, although i have it off
- id prefer the right side to have no holes in the shell, as this would allow for more versatile grip, i just keep my ring finger straight and it doesn't bother me at all, grip tapes might solve this for others
I tried a few top mice and picked this one up on sale. So far this is my main.
tl;dr - I really like the shape, light weight and premium features. During use i have a comfortable grip and the weight makes me feel unrestricted.
