Solid construction, dubious water or surge protection
Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2021
Construction-wise, this is a well-made extension cord, with a very good build quality and good wiring practices. I especially like the extra-long cord and the illuminated power switch.However... the manufacturer makes claims about water and surge protection that I find unsupportable. The only protection against water is that there are some drain holes on the bottom of the case. There is no sign of any "patented PowerAutoI technology". Worse, these holes are likely to be blocked if you set the unit outdoors on the ground. And if you hang it up by the keyhole on the back, the bottom, where the USB board is, will fill with water before any drain holes are reached. The outlets themselves have exposed contacts, though the line-side is quite recessed, which helps a little bit in terms of kids sticking things into the outlet. A little bit (the tweezers mentioned in the instructions would go right in.) At least they seem to be well-made. The "safety door" claimed by the instruction leaflet is not in evidence. The strain relief does swivel a bit, a far cry from what the instruction leaflet describes as "360 degree". The on-off switch probably contains the overload protection, though I can't verify that.As for surge protection, the "3000 joules" rating has to be taken with several cartons of salt. There is one small MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) on the USB board, connected across line and neutral with thin (20GA or so) wires - this won't absorb any significant surge. The USB board seems to be better quality than I have seen in some low-cost products, though the charge rate is limited to 2.4A, and I'm skeptical that it can supply that much to each of the three sockets at the same time.If you use this unprotected outside (I wouldn't), I recommend blocking unused outlets, perhaps with socket caps meant as draft stoppers, and make sure that any plugs you do connect are pushed firmly and completely into the socket.

Used it on camping trip for an exterior electrical hook up. No problems! Everything worked well including the USB ports. Highly recommend!

Awesome. I can't tell you about the waterproof aspect of this, although it does appear to be completely waterproofed and outdoor-worthy, but what I can tell you is that this feels like a very decent power strip. I'm using it in my basement, which can infrequently get damp during heavy rains. The quality is evident, and I'd recommend it for such applications.
I'm very pleased with this power strip.

I use this outdoor for my holiday decorations. The cord is long which is nice. There’s 6 outlets allowing 6 different inflatables to be plugged into the strip. It’s waterproof so there’s no need to worry about any malfunctions. I highly recommend this

I don’t see the evidence of the claims it makes. Has no obvious waterproofing or covers. To me it’s a no name brand and I want more evidence. Otherwise it’s a nice looking power strip obviously better than most low end.

This Outdoor Power Strip is solid and looks to be well built. The 10ft cord is long and works great for both indoor or outdoor setup. The outlets are spaced well. Works as described.

This feels like a solid power strip. The plugs fit in it nice and tightly. The charging speed is 5V/2.4A, so don't expect the kind of charging speed that you would get from a 9V, 15V, or 20V charger. The cord is nice and long, 10 feet, which is longer than a lot of cords that are only 6 feet.
