It's really hard to explain this album but then again, The War on Drugs has never put out a "simple" album. The songs feel familiar while also being totally original and not derivative. It captures the magic that made these last two albums so good. The stand-out tracks to me are Living Proof, Harmonia's Dream, I Don't Live Here Anymore, and Old Skin. Specifically would like to shout out Old Skin because it starts off so slow and almost melancholy and then it kicks into something upbeat and lifting.
I Don't Live Here Anymore will have at least one track that hits you and fans will surely be delighted with it as much as I was.
